Alternators Nemesis Prime in packaging

Post by Nevermore »

Not sure where these originally came from, so...

http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=5990

There's no assortment number, which implies an exclusive of sorts.

UPDATE:

Confirmed as SDCC exclusive, for 25 dollars.

Damn dirty shame. I really don't like the way the robot mode turned out, but this is the only shot I'll get at a Black Dodge Ram Alt. Maybe they'll do the Chevy S-10 with a decent robot mode (pewter would be a nice color. My mom's S-10 is pewter). I'd like a pickup truck that's not OP.

I just wanted the black one to make Trailbreaker out of, and I'm not really up to painting the current Optimus. I might end up skipping out on this one, as I could care less about another Optimus Prime.

I'd appreciate it if you can find out where and when we may see it out for sale. If SDCC is the only place we'll see it I'd like advance warning so I can plan my trip. Thanks.

Looks like everyone outside the States is confirmed on missing out on this:

http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=8&itemid=9649

from Toy News International, brought to my attention here:
TFNZ boards

Not all that bothered myself, on top of being a fugly mould with numerous shortcomings, they haven't done anything new to it. Straight repaints suck, so i'm pleased to miss out.

Word is that these will also be made available thru the Hasbro Toy Shop. [ http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/ ]
...so a decent number are apparently being made.

I am *not* ammused, let alone happy, that Nemesis Prime is an exclusive, especially to a comic convention I wouldn't be able to get to.

Okay, so San Diego is only 2 hours from where I live in L.A. & I don't mind it being $25 instead of $20. But the GAS $$ is ghastly right now AND is there a charge to go to the SDCC?? If there is...that is going to be one expensive piece of plastic.

I'm hoping it comes to Hasbro Toy Store.

Hasbro has said they'll be available through HTS. However, looking at their news post for their Star Wars exclusives, it says they'll be sold through HTS at SDCC. There's no mention as to whether or not they'll be sold online.

Note that the text says, "Sold exclusively through HasbroToyShop.com launched at Comic-Con July 2006." Sounds as if it's debuting at the con, but will be sold on the website.

I don't understand this. Why some people has the necessity to act like they're superiors, ultra-beings and post here using diferents names and showing us how clever they're and how wrong our lives are? TF are our hobby and our world ( well, more or less :) ). If a person needs to come here again and again to argue with us, totally strangers; what kind of live and expectations he has?????

Sometimes I wish Megatron had won the war...

Oh, and for the thread... If Nemesis Prime is not availible through online shops... I'm slagged.
