Course I also got chills when I watched the credits that first time after 10 years. I didn't know who they were when I was 9...

I knew Robert Stack because I used to love unsolved mysteries. Ahh, such a good show.

Gonna have to go with the Unicron transformation. First time I saw that I was bamboozled. Image

yeah i would agree also on Prime's Last Stand in the movie..

i also think as far as animation goes the EP Call of the Primitives.. was pretty kick ass with the detail on things...

TF:TM had excellent animation. Devastor transforming is cool, but you wish they could have got the chestplate colour right.

I don't have a favourite, but I think how prime comes out of the ravine in a Prime Problem looking for everyone is good.

I think the best animation I can recall in Generation 1 was:

1. Unicron's initial scene up to and including eating the planet of Lithone. His initial pass is just incredible.

2. Starscream's coronation with the particular focus on Starscream himself. That was the best he ever looked because the artists really put a lot of detail into him that can be seen in the fingers, hands, arms, and crown. The motion was also pretty fluid.

3. Rodimus Prime's...err...debut, yeah, I guess that's what you call it. You know, when Hot Rod gets the matrix and after he grows, the following scenes were pretty good up to the point where he opened the Matrix.

4. Optimus Prime's death scene.

5. Megatron blasting Lookout Mountain.

For me, there's a three way tie between TF:TM, More than meets the eye, and Call of the Primatives. That scene with Soundwave in Primatives was my favorite part from the whole series.

Outside of the Movie?

The Zone OVA was pretty gorgeous. Especially the opening sequence and the ver beginning, where the planet (Femnia?) blows up. Dai Atlas and Sonic Bomber taking onthe Destron Generals at the end was pretty well-done, too.

And as far as the show with the most CONSISTANT animation goes, I'd give that honor to Victory.
