Cyclonus vs Starscream ?

Pretty Self Explanitory. Both were their Leaders Right Hand Men/Robots, so who do u think is the Better Decepticon ?
Personally I think Cyclonus is, He was a much more developed character with more honourable traits.

Starscream was much better because he was sneaky, and seditious. There is no room for loyalty in trying to become the top Decepticon. If he were stronger, he would have been Decepticon leader, and made the Autobots into dust. he should have tried to posess Galvatron's body, rebuilt his old body with a few upgrades, and then disposed of Galvatron's body in some way that would have eliminated Galvatron.

I'd bet my money on Starscream. Like PaladinPrime said, Starscream was much more sneaky and seditious. Personally i don't think there are many bots that could take on Starscream. And Cyclonous is not one of them.

I should point out ive never read the comic.
Starscream in the cartoon was always annoying to me, and he always failed at getting rid of Megatron who I found twice as annoying. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm............. This si Probably why I like Season 3 so much

Would this be a normal Cyclonus vs. Starscream?

Or would it be Cyclonus when he had additional strength via Unicron? Galvatron Cyclonus and Scourge seemed a bit tougher when they had the unlimited strength of Unicron to draw from. "I was forged in the fires of a God", Cyclonus once said as he was trashing Hound.

After the movie, he reverted to your average Decepticon it would seem.

Starscream.

The Pride of the Cybertronian War Academy vs... 'The Warrior'. That's it.

Starscream had a very long history of both scientific and military training.

Cyclonus has the (possible) memories of Skywarp and Bombshell. What comes with that, one supposes, are either one's meager fighting ability.

Of course, the knowledge of Unicron might help, but that again might not. After all, what does a planet eater know about warfare?

I think Starscream was the better Decepticon because he embodied so much of what the Decepticons were about. Treachery, Decite, Cunning and Malice were all evident in Starscream's Character. Cyclonus, on the other hand, only seemed to be intrested in helping the Decepticons because Galvatron was leader of them.

As far as a fight would go, I think a lot of people underestimate Cyclonus' fighting capabilities. The guy is an interstellar jet to start out with. Starscream is just an F-15. Cyclonus was able to shoot down an entire Autobot shuttle on his own. Starscream probably wouldn't be able to put a whole in the thing. The only way Starscream would be able to beat Cyclonus in a fight is if he fought dirty, and even then Cyclonus would probably be to smart to let Starscream get away with any of his cheap tricks.

u lot have got to be kidding me, Cyclonus, the greatest Decepticon around vs Starscream, a former scientist and worlds greatest moaner. I mean just about any of the Autobot cars (Jazz, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker etc..) could best Starscream and often did whereas Cyclonus was matched only be the likes of Magnus

One out of three ain't bad, but it ain't too good either.

That said, a pure one on one battle with these two would be a sight to behold. Or, how about a three way with Soundwave? even better

well thats in the comic. i still think cyclonus would be tough enough to handle ss
and cartoon cyclonus would easily waste him.

in the cartoon, cyclonus was second to galvatron

In the cartoon, would you say that Starscream is second to Megatron? or would it still be Soundwave, like in the comics?

Soundwave didn't have the same amount of presence in the cartoons as he did in the comics, decepticon rank-wise. Then again, its been ages since I've seen the cartoons (6 or 7 years now), and my memories have faded a lot.
