Scorponok and Terrorsaur

Post by MeGrimlock »

What really happened to Scorponok and Terrorsaur in Afetermath?
I am from Italy and I have watched the american episode, so maybe I did not understand the dialogues.
Maybe they did not die? We did not see their sparks ascend to the sky, as happened to Dinobot's spark (is this correct?).
And the lava bath did not kill Megatron in "Master Blaster" (but he had 2 sparks).

Maybe Scorponok and Terrorsaur are still alive in the lava, but in stasis lock?

Did I write in an understandable way?

Anyone interested in this topic? Ora was it already submitted?

When the quantum surge hits, one of them is knocked off their gravi-pad, and collides with the other.

Their mid-transmetallising bodies land in the lava, and are never seen again.

It's taken as a given that they both died. Though it was never actually confirmed... it's open to interpretation.

And their sparks were obliterated from existence?
Or did they 'go' into the matrix? Do Predacon sparks go into the Matrix?

Predacon sparks (theoretically) go to the Pit (or the Inferno, the name of which was changed when Kenner couldn't come up with something different for the ant)

Meaning - it was never confirmed that they died. We can assume they did. It was never said.

It´s usually thougth that they were destroyed because
a) they were weaker than Megatron
b) they were in the middle of transformation
c) they were never seen later

Like Tarantulas said there´s no clear proof. Seeing though how seriously outnumbered predacons were in the late season two episodes, it´s hard to imagine they hadn´t been revitalized if it had been possible.

Sorry... that'll teach me to post when I's half sleep.

The Pit be the TF equivalent of down below. It's assumed by many that all Autobots/Maximals go to the Matrix automatically (due in part to the G1 cartoon calling it the "Autobot Matrix"... grr)

Therefore, many assume that all Preds go to the Pit... it's daffy, I shouldnae said it.

To which there can be exceptions, Dinobot being one.

Meaning, and Autobot/Maximal may end up going to the pit.

I'd say they are goners. The G1 Decepticons survived a lava pit (end of season 1), but I just don't think those two were on the same order as Soundwave. I could be wrong, but if alive they are now encased under tons of volcanic rock and have shut down due to a lack of energon.

Your English was fine, probably better than mine is right now..

I haven't seen 'The Aftermath' but I get the impression they're gone. They never really appealed to me. Scorponok was a big suck-up to Megatron but not in the way Inferno was. Inferno was interesting and loyal in a different way. And Terrosaur was a watered down version of Starscream. He used to annoy me so much. I guess the writers just decided to get rid of the two boring Predecons.

"I wasnt killing off 99% of the population of Earth, I was merely helping a friend do his report on peace, and in order for him to write a good report, there needed to BE peace.

"Fred was in his BED, on his HEAD, soon to be DEAD, because he ate LEAD"

Why does no one notice that when they say they want a "Pb+J" sandwitch, that "Pb" stands for LEAD in the periodic table. Think about it, this must mean about a 25% of earths population has a death wish!
