Beast Machines DVD

Post by Brimstone »

Well...I was looking through past threads and couldn't find any info on this. Has there been any words about putting the two BM season out on DVD?

Sorry I should have been more clear:

Any rumors on official Region 1 DVD release (like on Rhino) Beast Machines? (like they did with G1 and Beast Wars)

Rhino doesn't plan on releasing the BM Season 1 and 2 boxsets until sometime next year.

Right now, your 2 options are either getting the bootleg dvd's on Ebay, or you can buy the Anchor Bay release of the first 5 episodes of Season 1. This came out in August of this year and are exclusive to Canada. However, if you live in the US, it is a Region 1 OFFICIAL dvd and you'll have no worries about it playing on your dvd player, PS2, etc.

Since I already have the first 5 episode Anchor Bay release, I'm concerned about when Volume 2 (episodes 6-10) will be released, since I've abandoned Rhino because of their slow releasing of these sets.

Thanks for all the info!

(I didn't realize Canada was Region 1 as well...)

While I wasn't a big fan of Beast Machines, there were some very cool parts I'd like to see again, especially the Tankorr/Rhinox episodes, and Obsidian. He kicked butt.
I'll wait for the DVD set from Rhino.

One of my favorite BM episodes is ironically the first episode that will be on the second Anchor Bay dvd: The Weak Component. I love it because it shows how Rattrap has a hard time adjusting to not having any weapons in his robot mode, thus making him feel as though he's the weak link of the team. Only after a pep-talk from the injured Optimus, does Rattrap realize that he can be valuable by other means.

Ah,we have to wait a year for Rhino to release the BM DVD! I can't wait that long. Waiting to get all of the beast Wars sets was long enough.

I won't wait that long either. As soon as I find a decent homemade dvd set on Ebay, I'll buy those instead and tell Rhino to f**k off.
