And by the way, Megatron obviously DIDN'T abandon Cybertron, as there were tons of Decepticons NOT present at the time of the invasion of Autobot City. He probably put Shockwave in charge or something.

Are you even bothering to read most of this topic? Nobody's mocked Raksha since October, and indeed nobody would have mentioned her at all since then if it wasn't for you charging in and bolting the gate five months after the cattle had legged it. And I addressed the bit about the Decepticons as well.

I expect a rebuttal in September...

Alright, I accept that I overeacted. And yes, I see you're already adressed the comment you made, I just missed it on my first read through. The reason my responsed have been a bit late is because my internet connection isn;t working properly, so I can't get on the forum as much as I'd like to. I'm happy to drop it after this post and never discuss it again.
Now let's get back to the IMPORTANT matter of male on male Transformers porn. Who would be on top, Soundwave or Galvatron?

when did i mention the republicans. they arent semanitcally evil its kind of the opposite effect with them. They have had some very evil members but their original ideology was good natured. The republicans (in theory) stand for small government and privacy....in practice well...

It's really annoying when someone who shall remain nameless post huge image files to spam one of these threads because it's gone overboard (I've got dialup).

It's really annoying when a potentially interesting thread "goes overboard" due to two or three people batting the same lame joke backwards and forwards for twenty posts. You'd think someone with dial-up would appreciate that spam must be stopped, no matter the cost.

As an aside, Megatron's plan in the movie only comes close to working due to the naivety of the cartoon universe... the Autobots have no radar on the shuttle (**** off with the draft script; was there any sign of radar in the film?), no way of tracking the shuttle, no call-ins to the shuttle (do shuttle runs from the moons just drop in from the sky?), and a security system of a small boy and an idiot looking through a telescope, if they could be bothered to go to LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN. Not to mention that it takes the most incompetent bunch of villains ever a good week to kill the shuttle crew, and none of the Autobots think of pressing an emergency button... It's a plan that relies entirely on the Autobots, and the audience, being as moronic as Ron Friedman...

Cliffy ... points well taken about the shuttle seizure and more.

I'm given to understand that Prowl was origionally given some screen time to strut his stuff as a pilot before loosing the Decepticons in an asteroid beelt (or somesuch) where they were finally surprised and borded. Alas, poor Prowl, we hardly saw any of you thanks to budget constraints.

Likewise, there was more of the slaughter before Prime's arrival (A question: why didn't Shockwave send some of those expendable extras I'd mentioned earlier to deal with this second shuttle? Oh, right, it would have messed up the plot devise.)

As for the spamming bit, I do place responsibility for any annoyance with those who took things too far and not the one who acted in opposition to these. I mean, you aren't a Viking after all ... spamming with no provocation.

Amen to that: there are some just plain creepy people out there. Seen some stuff that... that... I can't even comment, because that would entail remembering the weird, horrible stuff.

As for the film: Shall we limit ourselves to Megatrons and Optimus's Strategies, or can we scope around to Ultra magnus?

On the Run on Junkion, his great inspiration is that the hours pretty dark, so lets try and open the matrix eh? So, in a moment of brilliance, he gets his support group- sorry, Troops, to leave him on his todd. He even goes to the extent of sealing off a cave entrance that they had escaped into (if my memories right?), so that he is deff-o on his own.
Then, the Matrix doesn't open. And he is very surprised by that isn't he? Poor fella, kind of rings true when he's protesting to Optimus Prime earlier that he isn't worthy, eh?

I actually love Movie Magnus (not as much as the fantastic give-a-toss 3rd season version, or the UK comic version). I mean. he's just this big dumb lump, and he keeps on trying, and it keeps on going wrong because Hasbro only made him one toy...
