Such a seismic change would reshape the history of the TF mythos. Starscream's position as Decepticon Aerospace Commander would be fragile, to say the least, unless deploying him involved getting Bruticus to kick him as hard as possible, and then Starscream shouting out his commands before he landed again.

And then there's the "Ow, my foot!" claptrap in TF:TM. If he was a cassette, it'd be "Ow, my groin!". How they'd make his voice any more squeaky and irritating I don't know, however. Shoot Chris Latta in the nuts? Hit Chris Latta in the nuts? Kick Chris Latta in the nuts? Flamethrower Chris Latta in the nuts? Grenade Chris Latta in the nuts? Headbutt Chris Latta in the nuts? Clliffy, that was just a bit over the top ... at least where grions are concerned.

But Starscream as a triple changer – robot, cassette, 1/4 scale RC airplane – could be funny in some dream sequence.

Expecially is Wheeljack figured out what his RC frequencies were.

You know ... isn't Soundwave reputed to have some sort of special abilities akin to telepathy that were seldom used? If so, he really had no liking for Starscream....

It'd be more satisfying if Starscream transformed into a Scotch video tape and Megatron sent him to the crushers when he found out the bleeder ruined his video recorder head. It's not out of the realms of possibility seeing as Starscream already makes some TF fans heads go funny.
