Who is taking toys to the theater?

Comics, cartoons, movies and fan stuff.

I'd beat my self up if I was that ugly :D

In all seriousness like I've said before..I'm gonna be there with my wife and kids enjoying the movie and bitching about the costs of all the candy/popcorn/hotdogs/ect. So no toys for me, and I'm too cheap to buy a tshirt when I need new dress shirts for work.

But more power to anyone that wants to dress as a Transformer, take a toy, have sex with an Arcee blow-up doll in the aisles...or anything else crazy you wanna do to show you are a fan of this crazy thing we all like (otherwise we wouldn't be here)...go for it I say.

And if someone tries to beat you up for it ...extinguish their spark or meet the matrix trying...I guess :\

And also, in Kidderminster there's barely enough room for someone of my height in the seats for there to be room to balance a toy on my groin as well.

I never bring anything more than necessary into the theatre with me.

What do you mean "dressed up as Chewie"? What if they're just really, really hairy?

How about a fat DUDE in a slave Leia costume?

Ahh, the wonderful world of horrible cosplay...

Then they're taking cosplay to extremes and should be stopped. With extreme prejudice. I'm pretty sure it's legal to shoot someone dressed as a Star Wars character.

If the PSP version of the game is out, I'll probably ttake that...... Have to do something while waiting for the film to roll.

I find it refreshing that someone would want to have fun just being at the movie in addition to seeing the movie.

The cosplay is neat if you're sure the suit wont get damaged by the seats.

But here's something else to consider, if any of us old timers has a son to take to the movie (I don't), and they personally have something of a beer gut, then why not go wearing hard hats and work clothes?

Why not give a plug for G1's human interest characters?

I mean, other that Robotmaster. :D

I meant that they're not actually trying to cosplay anything. Like...

-Gee, that's a nice a Chewbacca costume!
-Huh?

Is it worrying I'm now quiet tempted to go dressed as Robot Master?

And only the best people go in the Who threads.

I think I'll go dressed in work boots, jeans, khaki shirt and that yellow hardhat. :D

Though that's probably the least suspicious outfit...except maybe for the hardhat. But maybe even that one people will rationalize that it has something to do with thrown popcorn.

Maybe.

To each their own, I suppose. I'd be a hypocrite if I said otherwise - after all, I've been known to dress up when Rocky Horror is playing, and I have little reservations about it.

To be honest I won't take a toy to the movie. Mainly because I wouldn't want to look like an idiot . And i wouldn't want tol risk loosing any parts.

But if I was going to take a toy I would probably take a minicon.. something small that is easy to carry.

Yeah, but everybody does that - it's part of the cabaret of the performance.

Taking a toy to Transformers isn't quite as well established a tradition as going to see Rocky Horror in fishnets.
