You mean Walter Mattau? He'd make a better Kup, that would've suited him down to the ground.
Speaking of the movie characters:
Shia LaBouf as Hot Rod (Since he's got that annoying brat thing to a T)
Megan Fox as Arcee (Only logical if we have Shia)
Jon Voight as Ultra Magnus
'Lil Bow Wow as Wheelie
Alexie Sayle as Bumblebee (Well, c'mon, Mark Ryan's playing it with a northern accent!)
Jon Stewart (From the Daily Show) as Wreck-Gar
That guy from NYPD Blue (Sipowicz) as Rumble and Frenzy
Howerd Stern as Soundwave
Anthony Head as Shockwave
Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime
Frank Welker as Megatron

I've given this a lot of thought. Granted, some of these actors have already voiced these characters ... but if it ain't broke, why fix it? The roles in parentheses are the characters they've voiced (or acted in live action) that made me think they'd fit.

Well, Cam Clarke was the voice of Kaneda in the first English dub of Akira and Leonardo in the 80s TMNT cartoon. James Arnold Taylor was Leo in the recent CGI movie.Cliffjumper wrote:It already spins me out having Kaneda sound like Leonardo, I don't think I can handle Prowl using the same voice as well...
Taylor actually wouldn't be so bad as Prowl, come to think of it. Leo was a phenominal prick in the 2007 TMNT movie, and "prick with authority" is pretty much Prowl to the letter.

Well, the specific quality in Taylor's Leonardo performance that made me cast him as Prowl was the frustration that came with the burden of leadership. Sure, Leo had a stick up his shell, but it was there for a reason. Leo was there to lead; he wasn't there to be liked, though he ended up getting carried away with that. There was a lot of internal conflict with Leo, and I'd want to see that in Prowl to convey that he's not just a one-note d-bag.DrSpengler wrote:Taylor actually wouldn't be so bad as Prowl, come to think of it. I have huge love for Scott McNeil. Well, so to speak...NOBODY LOVES WHEELIE wrote:No love for Scott McNeil and his magic suitcase of great voices?
I'd love to see him reprise Waspinator in movie form!
I'd definitely cast him as Waspinator.
