War Within animated episode 2 demo 2

Post by Black Bumblebee »

Just a quick update for the TF message boards:

Got a new demo up on youtube for episode 2 of The War Within animated. Should have episode 2 completed by fall of this year (cross fingers).

It's available here:

I've also got on board a new composer for background music, rather than "borrowing" music from pre-existing sources. His take on my first demo for episode 2 can be found here:

Have no clue what I'm talking about? Check out episode 1 here:

Remember that this is still in demo/beta stages, so while I always appreciate comments, let's keep it friendly :-)

The animation and music are very impressive...

Not too sure on Prowl's voice -- after years of cartoons with modulation, straight human tones jar a bit.

Voice modulations usually happens, if needed, when the "real" sound f/x and music are added (by the folks over at tfcog.com). I'm doing good if everyone's voices come out the same volume as far as sound is concerned. :)

And a fine job you're doing too (I have to say that, he's my boss! ;)).

The music is done by a nice russian chap known as Sky Lynx. His style is influenced by Christopher Franke (Babylon 5) but lately he's been mixing it up with other styles. Very talented and I'm glad he's got the BGM gig.

Wow, I'm blown away...

I have no idea. But with hope (Three key parts are still awaiting their actors to send in lines) Episode Two should be out in the next few months (The guy who plays Shockwave is very talented ;)).

Okay, 3B and Sky Lynx have released a demo to Episode Two (No voice for Grimlock unfortunately because of reasons beyond their control). But just to let you know that the project is still going strong.

Also, for you French speakers, a french dub has been produced. Here's some clips:

If you need a voice for Grimlock, I could maybe take a crack at it.

Nothing's been announced for a re-cast yet, but I'm sure that if anything gets announced I'll pimp it here.
