Shia LeBeouf interviewed:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aB2af3C ... r_embedded

I'm not sure what the goal is, but it sure sounds like this is going to be the best Transformers movie ever.

On the one hand, I really, honestly, feel bad for actors who have to put up with these kinds of interviews. I really do. Because most of these interviewers are simply digging for something juicy (read: abstracted, useless fact of gossip).

On the other hand, the guy is an actor, right? If we can't have some real LeBeouf sarcasm, what about some acted-up, contrived sarcasm from an actor?

Don't recall if this has been posted before-

SPOILER! (select to read)
"There is also preview footage of the possibility of Unicron, the planet eater, in this sequel."
I don't know where they got that info. My guess is they're full of it.

Or something that rhymes with "it". It'd be pretty fly if it were true, though. And as Bay is claiming this will be his last one, I'm sure he'll want to end on the biggest, explodiest robot he can manage.

The problem they'll face, though, with bringing in that particular 'Former simply for the sake of upping the scale, is they have to do it right. If they pull it off, it could be just as epic as it was in TF:TM '84. But on the flipside, if they f*** it up, they're going to piss on a lot of people's childhood memories -- not something they wanna do, considering the potential backlash.

Also, in terms of plot etc, why would ol' Horned-and-Hungry want to come to Earth anyway?

Y'know, aside from that fact that he's hungry... To destroy the Matrix? Tracking the Allspark? If the the last two films are anything to go by, then the answer is likely to be more along the lines of "Purely for the shits-and-giggles".

And that would SUCK.

Seems like Prime's wheels are moved away from his thigh. And exhaust pipes are shorter too.

I'm always impressed people notice stuff like this, kudos, but I never do. :)

I'm quite dense, this has been proven in clinical trials, equal to quartz apparently, but unless it's something glaringly obvious like the Twins alt modes I'm none the wiser and I imagine 99.99% of anyone seeing this probably aren't going to notice.

I consider myself a hard core fan of TFs, well easy core, just because I like how it sounds, but stuff like this is over my head. Little changes, upgrades and things no doubt are just part of the design team changing it up, after all, design tweak, equals new toy?

Mind you I have just re-read Dreamwave's first G1 Volume with the hilarious scale of Pat Lee, a huuuuuuuuuuge Devastator holding what looks to be a toy of Air Raid or something, so what do I know?

All minor changes are a result of sub-space/Barricade/evolution/Mikaela's dad so I'm going to accept it all!

Well, hey. It'll be great to see him, even if he does end up with two hands, six eyes, is bright green, and cracks one-liners as he waltzes around with a cavalier, slapdash attitude. You know, just like the original character.

Goodness gracious, this thing is going to be awful.

Real 3D or shitty fake we-want-to-cash-in-on-this-3D-thing-so-we're-going- to-add-layers-to-give-a-3D-effect 3D?

Probably the latter.

Am not too keen on 3D myself—Bay himself seems reluctant to have a two-and-a-half-hour film in 3D. Maybe those guys at Paramaunt just want to go all Transformers 3-D!

Another Michael Bay interview:

http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/new ... sp=usat.me

Another one. This one reveals the same villain as the one above. Bay apologizes for the rushed feel of the second movie, taking part of the blame. Plus Michael Bay says that all the 'dorky comedy' will be reduced. The Twins are 'basically gone', but John Torturro remains. As with the other interview, Bay keeps saying that it will be 'the end'. Characters that die will die, and the movie trilogy will have an ending. That if they want to make a new movie franchise it'll have to be a reboot.

Curious.

Unless he's going to go nuts and kill every single Transformer (in some way that will make the Megatron/Optimus style resurrections impossible) the third film can always pick up with a new direction. Only way I can see the forth being a total restart is if this one bombs and we have a big gap.

Agh I'll miss some of the dorky humour, I hope this isn't a knee jerk reaction to a lot of the (Unfounded for the most part imo) reaction to 'ROTF', both the first and the second films were funny. A TF film that takes itself too serious will be tough viewing, you can still have elements of humour, just proportion it correctly, Turturro doing serious in third film would seriously suck.

I hope the Twins do get a death scene or a pay off, they are in the new movie despite Bay's claims to the contrary, on set photos of the geen and orange lined Chevy Sparks seem to confirm this.

Hears hoping all the bandwagon jumping ROTF haters haven' created something tedious and what's with the IGN STILL trying to claim an orange and green alien robot talking like Spongebob Squarepants equates to racism....

Let it go, seriously!

LMFAO @ the spongebob reference. That made my day.

I'm keeping an open mind about Shockwave being in it. I'm really interested to see what Bay does there. I would hope people wouldn't expect to see him in his O.G. incarnation. A 40' ray gun would just make me cringe with uncomfortableness and dismay. Now his O.G. voice would be quite the bit of awesomeness IMO.
