Hmm. I wonder why companies go for this 1:1 thing. Is it just because it's easier, and you don't have to work out exchange rates?

"Is this entertainment?" It is now. Late night talk shows, SNL, movie stars singing Imagine. It's all just people chatting on webcams. At least the three of you have figured out not to have the camera 4 feet from a wall, with yourself crammed in between, which is better than Conan's done.

If I got this right, the man with Hoist problems is Tom, the other man is Stuart, and the woman is Miriam. Who's who in terms of forum names?

I don't read the comics or follow other sci-fi, so my attention wandered a bit when you were on those topics. I did like that, when discussing using a figure you all own to create the illusion of passing a single toy around, the man with Hoist problems tossed his Spinister off to screen right, where no one was. Is the screen layout different for each of you?

If they wanted to go with an overly sexualized fembot for a snap together kit, why not just make one of Blackarachnia so it's screen accurate?

I like these general chit-chat episodes. Agreed you guys have made this format work a lot better than TV shows are managing to do. Having you all in the same frame creates a sense of shared space. Even though it obviously isn't. The Star Trek stuff is lost on me, but I feel I've absorbed enough about that franchise through listening to these podcasts for it to be of passing interest.

As for your questions, Tantrum, Stuart is inflatable dalek, Tom is Terome and Marian is Mort, IIRC.

I wasn't aware of the flame toys hoo-ha (or if I was, I've forgotten). Had a look and Windblade looks like those Ame Comi things I have. An odd aesthetic swerve for their line. If they were going for that kind of look, then yeah, Blackarachnia would have been a better choice as that look informs in part who she is. Of course, they could have done something a bit more imaginative and gone with a character like Beast Machines Strika, who isn't overly sexualised, despite being what we'd consider 'female'.

Skyquake is indeed correct on the order of who is who.

Glad people seem to be liking it.
