Special 20 Years of TF Archive Podcast.

As you may have noticed from the "By fans, for fans, since 1996" banner, this website is twenty years old this year. Oddly it has managed this despite all of us being much younger than 20 and the internet only being invented yesterday.

And as a way of celebrating, Podcast Maximus is going to attempt something a bit different and fun to what we normally put out. Because on this one we want some special guests...

All of you.

What we'd like is for people to send in MP3 files of no longer than two minutes in length talking about their favourite Transformers related thing of the last twenty years. It can be absolutely anything connected to the franchise (even unofficially in the case of 3P, certain cons and special books), as long as you have a passion for it and feel like sharing the love.

Spend the file as either an attachment or in dropbox/cloud storage of your choice in a ready to go form to: podcastmaximus@yahoo.com by June the 30th and hopefully we'll put something together that's nicely wide ranging ans esoteric to celebrate the last two decades. And as a bonus one person who joins in will have their name pulled out of a hat to win a Guido Guidi sketch as a thank you.

Fuller description of what we're hoping to do here (and of course, the more people join in, the more amusing and mind breaking my editing will have to be. Surely seeing me reduced to tears is worth it alone?)

If I can figure this out, I'm up for this! And yes, it is amazing that this site is 20 years old! Hooray for TFArchive the bestest TF fansite in the world...EVER!

(seriously, this is the only one I bother with)

So thank you, Mr TFArchive person. Your efforts are appreciated! :)

My voice can't actually be recorded, and any attempt to do so would cause anybody listening to it to go insane.

Sorry. :(

I recommend recordings be 10 mins long, or longer, and randomly peppering your audio with 1-6 min long silences, preferably in between sentences (or in the middle of sentences if you feel like it) for maximum lulz on my part.

*disclaimer- I'm a jackass, don't listen to me.

On this. Don't listen to me on this.

I'm pretty much the same. I just don't have a recording voice.

You obviously haven't heard my voice on the show. We take all voices and love them all (except for Terome's).

So does anyone have a snapshot of the website so us noobs can see for ourselves what the website looked like back in 1996?

EDIT: Also apparently I've been here since 2006.

Much the same as it did in 1998, AFAIR:

"The Transformers Ring" - wow, I actually remember when those were a thing.

Also the web design looks almost exactly like some websites I've seen recently which, coincidentally, also had something to do with toys.
