After the Transformers 1986 movie, how did the decepticons get their energon without seekers?

They seem to be having a problem with seekers to look for their energon at least in the cartoon anyway?

Don't forget "Seeker" is an after the fact retcon term, there's nothing to indicate that the jets are called that in the cartoon, nor that they have the specific job of seeking anything.
