Transformer Energon gimmick and characters

I wonder what Energon will be using as its story my guess is it will revolve around the classic battle for energon story but have different coloured energon produce different effect or something. At this link

we see characters one is recognisibly Optimus Prime, a yellow character and a one with a mask, the latter two seemed to combine. And here

we see who has been called Scorponok!
Megatron has yet to be seen and will probarly be arriving. What will Energon do that hasnt been done in the past is beyond me anyone got any ideas of the possible characters or transformations?

I mean that is almost perfect, the new age posiblity with a G1 styling thats more today than the 70's and 80's.

Bah, some one beat me to the nice pic here.

And if that is energon and not the 20th aniversary collection

then it looks like i was right and Energons going to be close to G1

and yes he's amazing looking and I really want one.

I don't know kanji, but I imagine the rest is the time of release (September next year?) and price. Anybody have a rough dollar and/or pound estimate of 4980 yen?

Yeah, sorry, should've said. It's reasonably obvious from the colouring tho...

I think his 'Bot symbol should be a darker red than the rest.
