Red powerlink symbol=landmine and bulkhead?

Post by Clay »

Perusing around the sites, I noticed a picture of Bulkhead still in the box, and he has the same red powerlink symbol landmine has. Can they combine together, or just swap back packs?

Most likely just swap backpacks. I have Landmine and I don't see how he can link with any other Autobot effectively because he doesn't possess the powerlinx part. Also from what I've read, if the figures happen to have the same colored symbol, then they can combine parts, trade parts, or attach to each other.

As far as I can surmise (by quickly checking the toys), the backpacks are not interchangeable.

I've just presumed that the red powerlinx symbol denotes that they can combine with their battle station, rather than another Autobot.

Yeah, the back of Bulkhead's box talked about him powerlinking and the picture illustrated the mode where he has his backpack on.
