Need help identifying toys

Post by oozingrectum »

I need help identifying two toys.. They are about action figure size, around the size of a Kenner made Darth Vader (Star Wars..) toy from the early to mid 90s.

I have two of them: One I know is Trailbreaker, and the other is a yellow formula one type car. Both fully transform, though now in the normal way.

I'm pretty sure they're both bootlegs, but that's not too specific... They were in a box I recieved many years ago with a few other toys I recieved in the mid 90s. Others included a bootleg Power Ranger toy, a bootleg Gundam toy and several other small pink toys that I forgot the name of.

I made a very crude drawing of how Trailbreaker transforms.. I've included it below:

I don't have any real pictures of them at the moment, sorry. I have no camera with me at the moment.

Any help would be appreciated, and I'll get real pictures of them as soon as possible.

I'm almost certain that the "Trailbreaker" you're referring to is actually the Go-Bot Scratch.

Thanks for the help!

The first one is right, but the second one isn't listed.

It's like a cheap, flimy version of this: http://www.tfu.info/1986/Decepticon/Dra ... gstrip.htm

I have the real version of dragstrip and he is kind of flimsy, but I remember Big Lots and such stores having tons of KOs in the early 90s.
How can I sign my name on the screen? Do I use paint or something?

Well, mine lacks any sort of detail other than the engine. And the nose folds down on the chest with 2 wheels on the side.

I'll try and borrow a camera to get a picture.

http://counter-x.net/gobots/reviews/slicks.html - tends to be as flimsy as Hell loose.

http://counter-x.net/gobots/reviews/scratch.html is the other - much better than Trailbreaker...
