ginrai

Post by PresidentSEARS »

So I got up this morning and thought I should take a trip to the PO to pick up a parcel.
I went - opened it and what did I get? A few Micromasters, a Mini Spy and a few big boys I needed (Complete Double Dealer, Astro train to name but two).
I also picked up God Bomber, he was loose with some sticker and chrome wear, missing an arm and the gun - but he was only £2.50 - so he pretty much complete's my God Ginrai now.
Here's the question - What exactly differs between the original and the remake of Godbomber - I'm guessing it's just tone of the grey plastic? What is the year stamped on it? is it 1988 or 200whatever.
Plus - has anyone got a PM Prime trailer they used for spares that still has the back panel - I haven't got one on mine.

I'm pretty much open to anyone with Ginrai/PM Prime spares PM me if you have.(sorry if that's against rules)

Generally all bumping accomplishes is to annoy people.

Does it have CHINA stamped on it?

OK sorry sir I wont do it again.

It doesn't say China though - it says Takara Japan 1988.
If that means its original then im confused, as the colouring is a different shade of grey to Primes cab

Re: the trailers, there seem to be a lot of semi-complete PM Primes on ebay, so finding one for cheap shouldn't be too hard. i'll stuff up links to anything I find on my random amblings :)

Apparently reissues usually have that stamp added somewhere, though not collecting them myself I can't verify.

Plastic can change colour in twenty years, added to which there've been running changes in most lines (including significant remoulds in some cases, not just changing colour tones or types of plastic.)

Not as bad as Bandai randomly updating the years on copyright stamps and completely ****ing with my head, though...

I heard the area where Hi-Q attaches is a different colour on the reissue as well
