Custom Starscream (now with hands!)

Post by frenzy_rumble »

Customer wanted actual hands on his TFTM starscream, so he got them. I'm still adding decals to the wings and tail fins. I also STILL need to paint the nose cose (realized this last night after transforming him, lol)

keep an eye on my website, later today will be more and larger photos of this commission.

That is too good! It actually makes me like the Movie Screamer mould for the first time! :headbang:

That's a vast improvement. And considering the regular hands are ugly and useless in bot mode AND robo-kibble in jet mode, you really can't go wrong putting on regular hands.

Side note: I love the activity in the Creative forum today. Lots of things popping up right now. Might have to update my Thrust and join in. ;)

Not bad. One question though, where do the arms go in jet mode?

out of sight, out of mind. they ruin the look of the jet mode, and the commissioner wanted them detachable.

I thought as much. Now, if you could figure out a way to keep the arms attached and still "disapear" in jet mode, that would be even better.

Nice work as always, frenzy_rumble. If it were me, I'd have chosen new arms, new legs, new head..........lol-- I'm still not a fan of this Starscream mold (since day one, all I see is some sort of space crab or something).

BUT, I enjoy the great work you put into your customs, so keep it up!

Acording to Frenzy_Rumble's site, the lower arms were from Stockade with Gundam hands attached. I rather like it, and hope that the client was pleased with it.

@Frenzy_Rumble, I also saw that Quintesson on your site. It looks amazing!

Not to nit pick, because the 'bash looks great, but according to the TF Video game and my Burger King SS toy, Screamer should have two thumbs on each hand. Polar opposite of each other.
Come on and wind me up.

While true, it depends on whether he's trying to be accurate, or simply replacing the hands/cannons that the toy came with for something more fitting. In any event, it's a vast improvement.
