A second set of Stunticons - these ones a bit dinged up - so I now have a near complete Menasor, just missing Motormaster's sword and Wildrider's small gun.

I also managed to pick up TF Cyberverse Legion Breakdown whom is a nifty wee figure.

My long wait of getting an Ironhide to fill in the Ironhide empty spot is finally over. Got Classics/Universe 2.0 Ironhide. Yes, I'm fully aware of his flaws. But unlike Tankor/Octane whom I totally regret of getting, this Ironhide I like and I'm going to keep.

He's not a bad figure actually. I find him quite fun. I did end up with the Hasbro one first, but the blue face (yes, I had a blue face edition...) and really bright windows annoyed me, so I picked up the Takara version when I had the chance (thanks Kinghtdramon!), who has a better paint job (and is a nicer darker red, with the yellow stripe painted along the sides, making him a neater homage to G1). But, yeah, the mould has flaws (QA like the head not being able to emerge properly and the waist not slotting into place correctly and just simple weird design with seams everywhere in truck mode!). Still fun to play with though!

Aye. I got the blue face version, though.

Although he is fine as he is now but there are quite some works to make him look "really" right (includes fixing the constantly looking down head). Just need to find the time.

Generations Blitzwing. Right now I've got mixed feelings about this purchase. There's a ton of potential in this one - triple changer, three faces, two weapons. But he just kind of falls flat, and is plagued by all the same things that have plagued the newest Generations toys. He's got wonky shoulders like Grimlock, quality is mediocre, and the design is just kind of 'meh'. For a G1 rep, he's OK, but I'm just not thoroughly pleased with buying him. The store I got him from also had Springer sitting there, but I just couldn't bring my self to spend the cash on him. He looks neat, but I think he's going to be mediocre just like a lot of the Generations toys and his Voyager size would be all out of whack when sitting next to Hot Rod, Magnus, Wreck-Gar, and Kup.

If you get bored soon-ish, interested buyer here. Probably going to pick Blitzwing and Springer up at some point, plus definitely the Megatron when it appears in numbers.

The only thing that puts me off is (ditto) both TCs are Voyagers... but Voyagers are getting smaller, which from my POV is a plus. And I already got FoC Grimlock thanks to Clay, plus DOTM Bludgeon courtesy of Dramon. A few Voyagers is okay.

I probably won't be bored of him too soon. He does give a good variety to my Decepticon shelf, which has been sorely overmatched in recent history. Maybe my feelings for him will warm a bit when I get a better chance to switch him back and forth; I didn't even get a chance to get him in tank mode yet! And if for whatever reason you don't see them on your side of the pond, let me know and I'll keep an eye out. I know shipping wouldn't be cheap, though.

I second your opinion on TC's becoming smaller. Personally I favor the deluxe size class for it's attention to detail while being small enough to pack quite a few of them on one shelf. I like Voyagers too, but at lot of them could easily be designed smaller for the deluxe class.

Cheers for the offer, but no real rush. I'll probably give it until they're more plentiful (and there are some UK sellers) or go for a UK specialist store to avoid any potential customs hassle -- waiting until they may or may not show up over here, they'd probably be out of US stores by then.

Denyer, if I find any triple changers once I'm in the UK I'll let you know. I only want Springer myself, but not enough to go out of my way to import him.

I prefer them to be voyagers though. Bigger and merrier parts count means there's more pieces to work with their triple changing aspect.

Ta. It might be a bit of a tight squeeze getting TCs into a Deluxe size -- Galvatron certainly fared badly from downsizing. They don't look too complicated, though, and it seemed to go okay with Astrotrain. Who these are now out of scale with.

Ugh. This is all Denyer's, Notabot's, and Knightdramon's fault for their relatively sound logic (combined with my weak willpower).

I caved and bought Generations Springer since it's a pay day. On the good side I think he's a better figure than Blitzwing, though the latter has grown on me quite a bit in the last couple days.

I haven't gotten him into helicopter mode yet, but his armored car mode is pretty good. Almost like a suped-up version of the Batmobile, but not quite the Tumbler.

Kre-O Micro Changers Combiners Decepticon Bruticus.

Surprisingly ace wee set. The four Combaticon Kre-Ons are all great and the combined form is a lovely posable beastie. I shan't be bothering with the stickers though. They look a bit small and fiddly.

Retail price is £7.99. Given that the blind packed individual figures are £1.47, and the gestalt only requires a few extra parts, it does feel a little bit over priced (with just 79 parts, that's 10p per component). The packaging is unnecessarily large too. Some random cross promotion abounds with the Beast Hunters logo splashed on the back (bit odd, as BH hasn't shown up in the UK at all yet) too.

I'm quite pleased with the little guy overall and shall be picking up the other three gestalts at some point.
