Let this be thy final lesson monster, no man is e'er defeated till his last breath is drawn! And e'en THEN, 'tis most unwise for the victor to assume the battle is ended, for with god and man, a war is ne'er over till the ultimate wrong is set aright and the final villain is DONE!
Got Omega Supreme delivered to me today, was a nice sale on the local webshop here for only 50 euro (roughly 65 dollar). Quite pleased with the walking brick as he now stands side by side with my Sky Lynx.
Edit: Originally Omega Supreme was 126 euro's at our local webshop, which is about 160 dollar, 60 dollar more then most American webshops (though with shipping I'd surely have to pay 30 more so it would be 30 more for me), with him being on sale here for just 50 euro was a opportunity that I simply could not pass by.

I'm trying to find a cheap Red Alert as well. Cheapest I've seen so far was £85 inc delivery from an Ebay scalper. Toyz and Gamez did show the figure at £45 but they've not had it in stock for a while.
Henkei Hot Shot finally arrived after a 40 day wait. Not bad. Better than I expected and my Jolt didn't fall apart. Jolt just keeps falling over due to him being back heavy.
Also arrived are Universe Acid Storm and Universe Tankor (Octane)
Next is Universe Inferno and maybe Drag Strip or a white Universe Leo Prime if I can find one.

Red Alert will apparently get a release in the Generations line, if you're willing to wait a bit and aren't too picky about the colour scheme (I wouldn't be surprised if the Hasbro toy's scheme was toy-based instead of cartoon-based). And even if you're dead-set on the Henkei one, the price will probably go down sharply once the Hasbro ones hit market.Rookwise wrote:I'm trying to find a cheap Red Alert as well. Is that Bluestreak as played by Robert Patrick? He still looks the same almost 20 years on. Must use Olay Regenerist, or a damn good CGI specialist, which ultimately is what Beyonce'll be using in about 10 years time.

Yep, the silver paint being such an overt nod it's the first thing he's done since T2 that hasn't had him running about with a photo of a small boy in an ironic way.

Cheers for that. I've been getting the versions I like between Classics/Universe/Henkei. All depending where the chrome has been placed (eg. Henkei Cheetor has a gold/blue chromed face. Didn't notice it and bought the Henkei version. Should've gone for the Universe one). Same went for my decision to get Universe Smokescreen instead of Henkei as I wasn't keen on the red chromed spoiler on the Henkei version.

I love toy catalogues Not sure if it made it stateside, but we did get a nice booklet for ROTF packed in a lot comics and the like over here. It wasn't definitive (sadly, for an American series where the first waves are often difficult to get by the time the line's a fair distance in, this'll never happen), but there was a nice mix of figs. The Japanese generally do it better, partly because their lines don't last as long, and partly because they actually do packaging and paperwork that's worth a shit*.Clay wrote: I also liked the printed catalog of Japanese Animated toys. Nice full-color spread that Hasbro haven't done since the 80's, I think.
Er, Super Gobots Bug Bite. I've had my battered original for a while, but the two-armed four-wheeled example in my collection has been a reissue, with a slightly different shade of yellow and no copyright-infringing VW stickers. But no more, now I have a proper one Fairly sure I did get a Transformer recently, but I'm damned if I can remember which one. So obviously it was a real corker.
