SIGHTINGS AND DEALS!

Post by martyboy70 »

This might have been raised before but I think it might be an idea for us to have a sticky where if people spot a good money off or BOGOF etc offer on TFs they can let the world know(or us lot here at any rate) and share the bargain.
This would have been good in the run up to Xmas and I thought about it when I made my last couple of purchases.
I found and ordered Beatmix Bumblebee from Gadgetshop (a division of The Entertainer) because they had slashed the price from £40 down to
£9.95
Also Argos often home of the UK TF bargain have done it again with Alternator Prime at half price of less than a tenner.
I just thought it might be a good thing to have on the board and that way people could just put a description of the figure, why its a good deal and if poss a link to it so that others could get in on it before they all go.

I think that'd be a great idea. Target recently had Movie Voyager class figures for $15.99. I didn't find out about it until after the fact.

Hi first post here. For those UK dwellers Argos have reduced a few of their line. Alt Prime is currently half price at £9.89 as of the 20th of Dec :)

Well BMBB arrived this morning(yes a Royal Mail worker out on a Sunday!!! and boy did he look pissed just about threw the box at me when I opened the door.
Got him powered up and hes great.
Plays a bit of the theme when you power him up,then does the G1 transformation sound and then plays your music and moves along to it (Headlights flash 3 colours, doors and head move in pretty good time to the music and eyes flash)
His arms dont move with the music but are pretty poseable while his legs are static.
I would have been a bit disappointed if I had dropped £40 for him but at a tenner I would definitely recommend him tho my one annoyance is the jack to jack cable to plug him into a sound source-its only about 6 inches long

Argos - Optimash Prime now £4.99.

Very few sightings of Ravage and none to date of Dodge Ram Prime - probably bought by parents with no idea for their children to smash, while those who wanted the darn things go and buy Optimash instead.

Sucx.

Yes. 'Out of stock' kept coming up as the darn thing had, apparently, crashed! I'll have to try again tonight to check if it's come back up....

Wal-Mart has Optimash Prime for $5.00. Don't know if it's just mine or if it's chainwide.

1 x Ravage = mine
1 x Optimash Prime = mine (silly, yeah, but what the heck...)

Delivery 07/01/08.

I have put in a request to be notified if any OP Dodge Ram's come into stock. Even if I have to pay for delivery, he'd still come in under the eBayers prices. Now all I need is a little cash and a lot of luck.

Yep, I just wish I had some pennys around to get it!!

Mind you the write up for seasons 3 and 4 is a bit odd...
"seasons 3 and 4 of TRANSFORMERS sees Optimus Primal leading the Maximals in their seemingly never ending quest to defeat the evil Predacons and their leader, Megatron."

Pamida (ptoo) near me still has some Alternators in stock, and did indeed change their price after Christmas... they marked them up from 24.96 to 25.50. :eyebrow:
Local Walmart also had Ultimate Bumblebee for $49, and a couple Cybertron Ultras for $20.

Rumour (me not being in the US) but apparently 3" Titaniums are being marked down at Wal-Mart, with the reduction being to new movie ones as well.
