I wouldn't worry too much, I'll be posting the whole thing in GIF form soon enough.

This should be stickied somewhere, like the toy forum or something. Any deal is a good deal at this point.

Agreed. One of the Mods has to do that, right? Do they add the sticky too?

BTW, one of the Mods still needs to move this thread to the Toys and Merchandise forum, and maybe add a sticky

Dunno, is it better in Toys or under News? Am happy to sticky something like this in Toys, even with the subforums and number of existing stickies, but it may get seen more here.

Quick show of hands?

Hmmm . . . It's news about a sale.

I'd assume that more people come to the news forum than the toy forum. Do we have stats on how many folks visit forum x vs forum y?

Someone who only trolls the news forum might be enticed to pick up a TF on sale even if they usually only collect the comic, watch the cartoon or see the movies . . .

My vote is for news forum.

4 transformers animated for $14

Post by bumblebeeFTW » Sat Feb 07, 2009 9:15 am

Walmart has combined the 2 transformers animated twin-packs they had at Thanksgiving into one special for $14.

Link: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... d=10910194

Could be useful to anyone wanting parts to make kitbashes or someone like me who missed out on Prowl locally.

Good deal, and I think its time to sticky this proper, in the news thread. If anyone has a problem with that and wants it moved to toys, feel free, but it seems more appropriate in news.

Universe figures UK - buy one get one free

Post by ismellicecream » Sat Feb 14, 2009 2:39 pm

Just been to sainsburys and picked up ironhide and acid storm buy one get one free. Dunno if its the same all over the UK - this was in liverpool - they were the last two in stock so I'm guessing the deal has been going a few days at least.

Just thought I'd give a heads up.

Price drops again for Animated Deluxe 2-packs at Walmart.com

Post by toyworks » Fri Mar 13, 2009 4:35 pm

Now down to $5.50 plus 97 cents shipping (or free site-to-store usually available).

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... 1231684785

The picture shows the Prowl/Megatron set, but the description is of the Optimus/Blackarachnia set, so its unclear which you will receive.

but at $2.75 per figure, who cares? :D

For some reason Matalan have Alternators for a tenner, I dont know if it was just the one store in Hull so you may have to check, unfortunately I didnt buy on cos I'd just been in ASDA for a couple of Animated deluxes but I might go back cos I realy want a Shockwave now.

Got a friend in Japan...?

Post by toyworks » Tue Mar 17, 2009 3:08 pm

... if so, there are considerable price cuts on Henkei USA Edition ultras with G1 style decos from Amazon Japan:

USA Edition (Red) Ultra Powerglide ¥1,737 (~US$17.59):

http://www.amazon.co.jp/TRANSFORMERS-US ... 928&sr=8-1

USA Edition Ultra Onslaught ¥1,975 (~US$20.00):

http://www.amazon.co.jp/TRANSFORMERS-US ... pd_sim_t_2

Unfortunately, Amazon.Jp won't ship toys outside of Japan, so you'd need a contact there in order to take advantage. :|

On the plus side, shipping within Jp is free, so if your buddy can re-ship them to you cheap, its still not a bad deal.
