Animated Samurai Prowl

the picture for the animated samurai prowl shows what looks like the wheel on his side car should split into two and attach to both arms but the two halves do not seem to split...was this just a design change from the picture or am i over looking something?

Sadly, it's a design change after the stock photo was taken.
