Aaaand...MP 11 is...

Post by Knightdramon »

...Starscream! Following the footsteps of Convoy, a remake of Starscream is scheduled for release March 2012.

Comes with coronation parts, hologram pilot and null rays. F-15 jet mode. Supposedly G1-accurate mode.

Retail price--13.000 something yen before any discount. Less than Grimlock's retail.

No pictures yet.

Actually interested by this. I hope they shorten his body length somehow, his torso always seemed a bit lanky to me. And whilst I didn't mind the hip kibble, it did get in the way of sideways leg articulation.

Oh and those crappy wing joints.

And make him gray this time, not white or green.

Ba-zam, have some pictures.

It seems to be an extensively remolded MP-03, but it fixes the problems I had with MP-03 (hip flaps and lack of a heel spur). So now I'll have an MP Starscream.
No longer looking for RID Dreadwind, but I still need Smokejumper. I'm also in need of Mammoth Nemesis Prime's tail piece, as my figure lacks it. Send me a PM.

Kapow toys now has the pre-order on. It really looks like a remold with minor tweek for the accessories. At least they might get the color right this time.

Would this thread be better suited in News?

Probably, but... is "Takara re-releasing existing mold for next Masterpiece toy" really news anymore? :p

Meh, looks like the bulkier head\different waist parts and different arms offset my issue with the elongated torso of the original.

Plus it's nice to finally, finally after almost 7 years see them use those damn black plugholes on his shoulders.

Will pre-order this one, keep my old mould Skywarp and get a repaint of this into Thundercracker and I'm a happy camper.

Not having bought an MP Seeker before sure does have its advantages.

I'll definitely be picking this one up somehow.

Yep, if there's one lesson this and Rodimus can teach us it's never buy the first release of a Masterpiece, you need to give Takara a few tries to get it right. Or at least adequate.
