Post by Rookwise » Wed Jul 02, 2008 2:36 am

UPDATE 19th July 2010

Last of my collection is now up for sale. 3rd child is on the way now which means there's not going to be much room/time for any Transformers collecting/displaying so they're now all up for sale.
None are on Ebay atm but will be going on there sometime in the next few days (link to my listings page is below)

WTF is with that 08 BB? Normal ones don't have a pic of the toy, rather a drawing of his face. Sure it's not a KO?

You will find that its a UK version of Movie Bumblebee. All the UK movie figures had a picture of the toy on the front and not the characters head.

Its deffo not a KO. I bought it from my local TRU.

Yeah - I'm afraid we folks in the UK not only have to pay over double the US RRP, but we don't get any box art, tech specs or a bio (we usually get one or two sentences only).

Sucks...

New sale thread added with a range of Transformers including Masterpiece, Botcon, CHUG, RID, Movies etc.

Looking for MP-11T Thundercracker and MP-9 Rodimus v2 (Takara version with as few QC issues as possible).

Check out my new sale thread now!

Also items on eBay.

I've just payed £25/$50 for movie jazz in his g1 colours on e-bay from a Uk seller. What was it in the states $10? cos that 5x as much. Also being part of europe our boxes have to make room for a lot of different languages so our bios are short.

Alas, exclusives always get a rediculous mark-up over here.

I'll be interested to hear how good the figure is, though. I considered getting him, but I didn't like the costs, and then Premium came out, which suited me better.

Oh dear. ASDA had the G1 coloured movie Jazz in for £9.99 and I think Wilko's had a few movie and Classic 1.0 figures left.

Wow... It's all go in Staffs!

Had I know, I might have made time to check out an Asda last time I was down surveying great crested newts... but, it'd have to have been open 24 hours...

Funny thing - the Asda in Dumbarton, where I used to live, wasn't too large, but stocked a lot of Transformers. Now I live in Hamilton, where the Asda is a lot bigger, and they have none at all!

Funny world...

(Now, for great rarities, nowhere has beaten Tesco in Dumfries, when I used to live down that way a couple years back. Back of beyond, but good for Transformers. Go figure!)

I don't know if you're looking to outright buy the animated stuff you're looking for, but I know that I could get Blurr and Swindle easily, probably Shockwave, perhaps Skywarp, and I'm happy to look for the others as well. Deluxes sell for $9-12, Voyagers are around $20. If you'd like me to go on a hunt for you and ship it all together, give me a PM.
