I don't get boxers... surely it feels like you are wearing a pair of shorts underneath whatever else you're wearing? Under jeans... it must feel like getting in a swimming pool while you're fully clothed. Kind of. Or not. But uncomfortable in some way.
You should try a nice thong between your cheeks, now that is comfort.

Briefs. More comfort, less chance of sitting on your tackle... and as Clay points out, promotes infertility... [note: I am NOT recommending this as a form of contraception...]

I'm with Blitz...boxer briefs all the way, though I do rock straight-up boxers about 30% of the time.
