Every time I get in my car, I come to this conclusion...

...old people should be taken off the road by any means necessary. Slow old farts piss me off. They don't have enough sense to get in the slow lane when they're doing 35 on a 55, so they stay in the fast lane. They take forever to pull out onto a road because they have to wait until nobody's coming either direction for at least a mile. They swerve like nobody's business.

What do you hate about old people on the roads?

The fact that car-mounted machine guns are considered illegal?

It's not so much old people, as the young 'just learned to drive' types, that ****ing cut you up at every opportunity.

I hate it when people don't use their turn signals.. or not yeild right of way when it's mine..

DMV shoud give IQ tests.. score below 85, and you can't drive without yellow police lights on your car.

The police need to hand out more tickets for doing dumb stuff.

Impeding traffic, no turn signal, etc.

Driving 35 in a 55 zone is legal, unless it's on a freeway. If it's a one lane road, I think they have to pull over to allow people to pass at some point. In California, I'm pretty sure that;s the law. It saves sanity in the mountains when someone's going 25 and you can drive it at 45. If oyu have 5 people behind you, you need to allow them to pass.

anyone who feels the need to come to a complete stop before making a right handed turn annoys me to no end...as well as anyone who does under the limit even by the slightest bit

got that right...i got places to be and dont need to be stuck behind their slow moving butts. I especially hate it when you are on a four lane road, and there are two of em in front of you, and they both go the exact same speed.

I agree with that. It's painful to sit behind. When I drive form college back home, I often get idiots who sit next to semi's doing 55 on the freeway. It goes down to two lanes out in the boondocks. Idiots. Like you want to drive right next to a semi anyways. Never seen one of those things start to drift....

Could just be the folks that tend to be bewtween my house and work but:

age matters not.

---They are all on the same road as I am. Inevitably:
*Three to four drivers are driving school buses. There are two sets of railroad tracks between home and work. Makes for a long drive.
*There are four merges. Usually allowing a total of 12-15 cutters into line.
*There is a construction site in the path, so most mornings one can expect 1-3 construction vehicles traveling to/from the site and men working on the road.
*8 stoplights and 7 stopsigns
* however many other drivers and single lane roads 9/10ths of the way there.
and whatever else, but driving is fun. ;)

As for drivers... in my experience, age doesn't have much to do with it, either. My Grandfather drives like a madman, and my da can make a trip that would normally take a half hour in fifteen minutes. On the flip side, my sister drives like the stereotypical "little old lady", and I'm not much better. :p

I'm one of those people that think that there should be a drivers competency test when you reach 50 or 60 years of age. And then would have to take a new one every time you have to renew your license. That would get rid of all the old people who's driving has gotten so bad that they shouldn't be driving at all.

I also hate slow drivers, as well as speeders. Why is it that some people to go twice the speed limit? Its just going to get them killed or a very heavy fine on a ticket. You don't really have to worry all that much about tickets if you stay at the speed limit.

I find it funny how when you get around old people on the road cause they're goin too damn slow, they flip YOU off... Like YOU were the asshole that was holding up traffic and making me late for work or sex...

Also I hate people who won't let you pass. I mean they go slow and when you try to pass they either change lanes to keep in front of you or speed up to stay ahead of you.
