Family Guy Discussion
You know, it may be sacrilege, but I'll come out and say it. I like Family Guy better than the Simpsons. That's right, I said it.
No television show (except maybe The Kids in the Hall) has ever made me laugh as much or as consistently as Family Guy.
Any other fans here? Favorite characters? Favorite episodes?
As for me, my favorite character has got to be Brian. I love the way he's usually the voice of reason and conscience of Peter, but he's still a womanizing drunk.
My favorite episode is the one where Brian becomes the police dog and gets hooked on coke. Absolute genius.
You know what I haven't had in a while? Big League Chew.

I am a huge family guy fan...and yes I as well like it more than the Simpsons.
One of my favorite episodes is the one where the meet the nudist family and they go over there for dinner. Lois says "Oh good I don't have to cook". Peter then responds by saying "Oh no, go ahead and cook and we'll throw it out, we don't want you to get rusty" I cracked up laughing for a while when I heard that line.
Another one of my favorite episodes is the Y2K one
"A Dead Lois?"
"Show me potato salad"
Me and a couple of my friends have jokes from those lines in that episode.

I received all the 50 episodes of Family Guy on DVD this week and I have only seen about 20 episodes before and now about 10 new episodes on DVD.
I would say that Family Guy is better than Simpsons and Simpsons hasn't been great for many years. Family Guy is on the edge and makes really great comedy for adults.
I wouldn't say that I have the favorite episode yet, but Stewie is my favorite character, a diabolical genius baby, who can't rule the world yet, because he's small.

Can I boast and say I've meet one of the voice actors? Wally thingamajig (Sideburn in RID) apparently played loads of charecters, and was quite psyched about making more...

Yeah, according to the new Toyfare, they're coming out with Family Guy action figures.
The coolest part is, Chris comes with the evil monkey.
SUH-WEET.
the episode where Brian keeps wetting the floor because he's in love with Lois was on a couple of nights ago. I hadn't seen that one in a while and had forgotten how funny it was. The scene where Brian wets himself in the supermarket was classic.
