My previously low tolerance levels have plummeted

Post by Cliffjumper »

God, why are there so many tossers around here at the moment? There's one loser who masturbates over cartoon girls and threatens to kill a character who I share a screenname with off in a fanfic as some sort of half-arsed threat, this girl who's decided to start telling me what to do for no apparent reason, under the delusion that I give a **** what she thinks I should do, and there's this other one who's manged to think we all fancy her, being the sad bastards wot we are.

Is it just me, or are some members real pains in the ****ing arse? And don't even get me started on the ****ing state of the G1 forum.

I'm actually tempted to sign up for OPG. Nine pages on the TARDIS handpump sounds like ecstacy compared to some of the drivel here.

Yeh, minority, most of you are marvellous. But couldn't we, y'know, kill the minority?

edit: reminds me of Chaucer ("laaat-e in leeev-e hay went to his vee-vay in rrrom-e" a rather Middle English writer. Thats Old English though.)

Dammit Tom, I thought this was going to be about alcohol tolerance levels. Something I know about. Son of a bitch.

Yup, plenty of random retards about right now. Yeah I called them retards. Get over it, people.

It's not just you, though I'd imagine we've got different people in mind when we say it.
And don't even get me started on the ****ing state of the G1 forum.
Yeah, it's really been overrun by undesirables, hasn't it? I think most of the comic fans have given up in disgust and hauled ass over to the Transfans G1 forum.

If someone would give me banning powers, that would probably suffice... :glance:

Oh right, because I'm planning to execute a minority, annex Austria and Czechoslovakia and then invade Poland, you make a totally unreasonable connection between me and Hitler? You bolshevik bastard!

If more than 50 members post in this thread I'll consider that a mandate and the cullings will begin...

I've wanted to kill minorities for years, I've just been waiting for an excuse.

As in people use cull (vb) it to mean something like (select and) kill? (I didnt get that in Merriam Webster)

That would give a particular reason why deadly came to be used for cool. Cool said with style = cul ;) (btw, deathly is in MW)

Observations:

i) If you allow killage, then you should allow pill (vb) from pillage (n) (just found out pill existed (archaic)).

ii) Since we have overkill, we should also have em-kill (emboss) with a fun meaning (en-kill would be there too).

iii) In the Southern US, the've got a line going: I liketa died (meaning: I want to say metaphorically that I almost died, but I am being clear here, that my life was by no means in danger) We need lines like "he justa killed me".

iv) adjectives kill and killest should be formed from killer.

That's right Chaucers, we're "thinking" about killing.

From M-W:
1 : to select from a group
2 : to identify and remove the culls from

The second definition is the one we're looking at. Culling is generally used as a sterile term for the mass slaughter of vermin.

Its literal meaning isn't kill, but it's perceived as being synonymous with it.
i) If you allow killage

Which we don't...

My two favorite threads on OG at the mo is one haveing a go at Doctor Who Magazine for the new issue being tottally devoted to the new show instead of having inteviews with the lady who made the tea on Timelash, and the one accusing RTD of homophobia...

Well as they say millions of years. Bah, let's give evolution a kick in the tail. That should also be one more to 50.

Is long as I am not on the cull list, then it gets my vote.

I wouldn't be opposed to it either.

Even if I am on the list.

I think more people (as in people who've yet to post in this thread) should get involved in discussing what the differences and similarities between culling and killing are.

The difference are two letters at the beginning, surely?
