Very nice, indeed.

How does she feel about this taking up the entire floor?

T'other half? Or the lesbian? Sar helped set it up (spare room, y'see) - it's my turn to have the floorspace anyway, she's had Barbies in there for the past six months :)

They come in by train, bus and plane. Y'know, to drink at the cafe.

I've designed blocks of flats, actually, they're just a bit of a dull thing to save up and build :) Whacking great big hotel is an option, but it'd cost more than God. Space is also a big problem :(

Impressive. We used to have that aeroplane and it suffered from similar yellowing. I don't remember any other of our lego pieces suffering from yellowing. Bad product?

You'd have possibility to receive free lego stuff if you just checked your PMs...

Yeh, sorry, I did type a reply, but the net cut out, and I keep forgetting to go back :(

Lots of my older white Lego is pretty yellowed, sadly... I'm trying to replace stuff, but the problem with that plane is lots of the parts are realtively scarce :(

Cheers for the comments, guys! And yes, there is at least one lesbian who comes in by train (Butch Hitchdyker), I'll have to get a photo of her...

Wow. I mean... in all honesty... I never believed you of all people would have the patience to craft something like that.

That just rocks.

Sweet zombie Jesus, that's thoroughly awesome. I wish I had that much free space for Legoing. :(

*glances longingly at plans for a medieval castle town*

Just out of curiousity, how much square footage does the town chew up? :)

Ooooh, let's see... 7 ft by 10 ft, not including sea and the like. Maybe a bit less - I'm guessing at 1 ft per 48 stud base, though it might be a bit closer to 10".

The big problem is as you might be able to tell, there's hardly any space around the edges (which is why the more complicated set-up work is done towards the 'sea') to actually get in and play... The main reason for the gap behind the main square is so you can get a foot there and jump across. Sadly, it's about the biggest room we have (the living room is a bit bigger, but has unmovable stuff smack in the middle). Now it's been partially taken down, once Jen's stayed we're not expecting guests for ages, so I'm probably going to get in and dismantle the spare bed and shift the desk around so there's more space around the edges.

and it's all your fault Cliffy!
