Do u like asking out online, or possibly have before. Or are you strictly a phone person, or possibly like to talk face to face.

It is not how you die that matters to existance, it is that which you do beforehand that changes all.

I like to do it face to face. No online preparation, but real life one. Of course, it's nice when you also know them online... Makes it easier.

Well, were I single I wouldn't ask someone I only knew on-line out on a date... maybe to a social thing where other friends would be present... I've always had a slight tendency towards putting safety first.

On the other hand, as is readily establishable by a quick conversation with my better half, I'm not the kind of person to ask anyone out officially without extremely pointed suggestions from mutual friends.

now, are we talking about people we know before hand, or are just meeting them?

Either way, I think face to face is the best way to go

Face to face is the best way to go. Also I will give you the key to getting a woman. Ask them "how about some tacos and sex tonight" and when they make a face say "what you don't like tacos". It never fails me. Then again I am good looking.

I've never asked a girl out online. Its always face to face, and once I've done it over the phone.
My last girlfriend asked me out over an email though. Turned out that she dumped me over one too... go figure.

By the way, my favorite cheesy pick up line is, "Hey baby, come sit on my lap and we'll talk about the first thing that pops up." Image

I'm not gonna start a flame from it I already told you what that was. No it had nothing to do with wacking off.

My suggestion is that face to face beats phone, inter-web (BAD!), etc.

As for pickup lines, I've had moderate success with "Hello."

I generally find that,"Hi,I'm Colin,What's your name?" works well

This one seems to work fine with me: "Do I know you?" "Yeah, we spent an hour talking last night..." "S**t, I was really wasted wasn't I?" "Oh yeah... I remember..." "Don't tell me, some things are better left unsaid. By the way, there's a party at (fill in name here). Interested?" "Sure" "K, C ya then"

Turn to friends behind you: "Who the F**K was that???"

This particular conversation has occurred about 7 times for me...
