As far as Danvers vs. WW. Hmm, might call that a draw. I think Wonder Woman would be the stronger of the two but both are such skilled fighters. Though Wonder Woman is used to battling along side Superman and such against Gods like Ares and Hercules and Darkseid. Who's going to be the biggest threat Ms. Marvel faced, Kang? Ultron? Might give the edge to Wonder Woman...

I thought that, sooner or later, every discussion on the internet devolved into an argument about Nazis?

... wow. Firefox's spellcheck doesn't recognise the word "internet". That's surreal. It's also underlined "Firefox's" and "spellcheck". The **** is going on?

You realise this wasn't a vs. topic until you made it one, right?

Hyperion would be Superman's counterpart in Marvel... :eyebrow:

Does Spartan count as a DC character? If yes, he's Cyclops' counterpart...

Batman = Iron Man.

They're both millionaire playboys who dress up in silly gadget-heavy costumes to fight crime.

Wow. So, you people, like, keep the "u" in stuff like that? I've learnt something new today.

Besides, it was just a random observation on my part.

Interesting thing about Hyperion = Superman - the original Hyperion's muscles end at his neck, going up. I will assume charitably that the Squadron Supreme version is relevant.

So who would Marvel field as equivalent to Lobo? I'd be in favour of Sabretooth...

Captain America = Superman

One has powers, one doesn't, but they're both the guys that the respective universes heroes will follow.

Iron Man = Batman

Pretty much a given- both strong seconds with a paranoid streak. The fact that they're both millionaire playboys is merely coincidence.

Dr Doom = Lex Luthor

The both are arguably the most influential non-powered villains in their respective universes. Just seems to make sense.

Daredevil = Dr. Mid-Nite

You didn't see that one (sorry)? Both gained a new form of perception through exposure to hazardous materials and went off to fight crime- as a lawyer and a doctor. Trying to help people outside their superhero identities- I'm sticking with that.

Thor = Captain Marvel

Magical powerhouses in control of powerful arcane kingdom (Asgard for Thor) or magic store (Rock of Eternity for the new Shazam).

Hey wait... is this versus? If so, I'm going for those pairings. Plus-

Hulk Vs Solomon Grundy
Sentry Vs Superman
Quicksilver Vs Flash
Nitro vs Damage
Kang Vs Booster Gold
Punisher Vs Vigilante
Nova Vs Green Lantern
