Best Wii Game Yet?

Post by secretcode »

I picked up Brawl on Sunday, and I have to say, it is one of the best games I played in the last few years, and while the online play is kinda crap right now (Nintendo is fixing it as we type) the single player and offline multiplayer is excellent.

Unfortunately the Subspace Emmisary single player story is kinda boring, mainly on the last level (The Great Maze's level designer is going to hell)

Whaddya guys think is the best Wii Game yet?

I haven't played it yet, but we did just buy a Wii last weekend for my son, after much searching and rummaging about town. I plan on renting it this weekend, so far I have only played the Wii Play, Wii Sports, and Wario Ware Smooth moves...which I just loved!

Gah. How could I forget WarioWare? It entertained me longer than the piece of string I had for the last month.

I love my 360 not a big fan of the Wii yet. But Smash Bros Melee *Brawl whatever :) I am drunk sorry* looks sick.
The bunnies, they give me knowledge it is neat.

My 360 gets played every day, while my Wii hasn't been used for anything other than browsing circulars for months. Still haven't even beaten Mario Galaxy.

Haven't released Brawl in AUS yet. Looks good.

@ Sir Auros: Who has beaten Galaxy? Those 86 stars are laughing at me.

since i'm only fond of the internet for bullshitting and porn, shopping seems to be neither. and the BB near the house hasn't been able to keep brawl in stock.

so sports/party 8 are winning. can anyone beat a 267 in bowling?*

*only thing to quantitativly compare.

That reminds me, I have 3 more stars to get for the complete set with Luigi :)

Super Mario Galaxy has been the outstanding game. I'll be picking up No More heroes. I haven't started Zelda because I save RPGs/lengthy games for holidays and I've been enjoying Ghost Squad a fair bit.

It's only a port but I loved Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, I am currently enjoying the laser sword stuff in No More Heroes and have in the past liked Super Mario Galaxy for it's variety, Metroid Prime 3 as the concluding chapter, Zelda: Twilight Princess initially but later dungeons seemed rushed and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles which I feel has the best way pf telling Resis story for alot of people who dont like the third person games. I am no great fan of Transformers the Game due to it's poor controls and only find Spiderman 3's web swinging it's only redeemable feature. It's really hard to say which game I liked overall with the Wii.

121 Stars with Mario and Luigi now. I don't know if that is cool or sad?

However:

Pro Evolution Soccer games have easily been the most played by me since PES 4. I'm looking forward to this.
