If you had to design a Superhero/villian which was obviously from a particular place ie: Town, city , county, state, Country etc. Who would it be and what would it?

Why the Kidderminster super hero would be Stamp Man of course. He'd give crime a good licking...

A very British Heroine let me present

Tea Lady at first glance an old fashioned tea lady dispensing tea buns and sympathy in Smethyk's widget factory. However she has the power to look into the future and sense when and why someone needs a good cup of tea. She will then use her flying powers to get to the scene and change the future to prevent the need for the cup of tea to be dispensed in the first place. Since the advent of Starbucks her powers have been declining due to the introduction frappamochalattecinos with skimmed half fat organic jersey UHT milk and sprinkles.

No UK superhero can possibly be more awesome than the Nextwave version of Elsa Bloodstone.

im currently making a comic called bin city and its set in my home town of Hull in Yorkshire

the story is about the death of the citys official super hero tiger man (philanthropist and arsehole) and the aftermath that follows as numerous terrible ''heroes'' try and take his place which leads to the second main character Captain Captain having to train up a bunch of these rag tag heroes.

captain captain is the leader of a secial branch of the royle navy set up to combat her arch nemesis the Rear Admiral. the captain was a contender to hero of the city but lost to tigerman and left Hull indefinately.

characters include...
tiger man (as above)
captain captain (as above)
pakin heat (a chav with a moped and various tools of distruction he tries to use for good)
mac attack (all the powers of an apple computer)
the freezer (good or bad?)
tiger boy (die hard fan of tiger man)

the purveror of sleaze (perverted villain of hull)
the nefarious miss nerlich (criminal mastermind and friend of mine who forced me to include her in the comic)
the rear admiral (had a nasty accident and now leads a rogue faction of the navy)

and various others ill post some pics as soon as i can

Well with you, man, after visiting Hull for work a few months back...

And I'll have you know that 'Bean Man' was a voting option during local elections while I lived in Cardiff a few years back! (And yes, he painted himself orange, wore crazy spandex and capes, and his policies all involved Baked Beans...)

well said numbat the sad truth is that all the satire about how bad it is is true. according to channel 4 its the second worst place to live in the uk and its full of white trash and all the shiny new improvements look great for attracting visitors it does nothing for the day to day running of the city so the least i can do is make it funny

To be fair, Hull was rather good for bird life (given my job was to look at a potential windfarm site with a view towards it's ecological impacts and all). In two hours I saw a number of endangered seabirds and waders.

So it's good for something!

People were friendly too, for that matter...

Hull must be bad if dalek's taking a pop at its grasp of English.
