Music to make cleaning the house fun

Post by slartibartfast »

I recommend the new Prodigy album "invadors must die". Great big phat beats to wax the floor to and high-pitched, whiney syths that can be heard over the noise of the vacuum cleaner.

Other choice cuts include the 1986 OST and that Wiseguys album...

I like to do my washing up to the mixed disc from Soulwax's "Most of the Remixes..." compilation.

Hollywood Undead. Not my usual style of music, but some kid my wife works with gave a copy to her and we have both found it to be very amusing and great for blasting while doing housework, when the kids are safely away that is. ;)

I'm a cleaner by trade and in the summer I'll listen to Jack Johnson and some live lounge stuff, exept for when I'm hoovering as even my FR headphones wont drown it out completeley so I'll put on some Arctic monkeys or Feeder nice and loud. But in general I'll listen to Hot Chip, Kaiser Chiefs, Calvin Harris, Robots in Disguise or whatevers on shuffle.

Big hair 80's wank-o-rama followed by cheese, so *hits fully prepared randomizer button*

'Animal' by Def Leppard followed by 'I think we're alone now' by Tiffany.

Yeah, keeps my rim clean.

I really enjoy listening to some podcasts while doing my weekend chores. I'm all kinds of productive when you give me a couple of hours worth of videogame talk radio to listen to.
