I'm driving to Hollywood from Vegas today. Going to my first ever Botcon. So excited! I'll take lots of pictures for you poor souls that aren't going.

It will be one of, if not the, biggest yard sales you will ever go to. Enjoy!

I was going, its only a 3 hour drive, however my daughter broke her glasses last week, and my wife's car broke down again this week. Long story short, I'm out $1200, so no way I can afford to go there unless I drove and came right back, and bought nothing, and that isn't happening. Oh well, at least my wife still has vacation this weekend, we can enjoy some quality time, have fun you guys that get to go!

How true that is....only with better finds

Either way, enjoy your time.

Just got back yesterday. It was the best thing I've done all year. It was like a giant swap meet featuring pretty much every transformers made. They had xboxs, Wiis, and pcs setup for people to play the ROTF game and it blew me away. I got to chat with Matt moylan and he's cool guy. They gave away so much stuff to the crowd. I won a stealth bumblebee in the door-prize giveaway. They had a contest for the children to see who could transform 07 movie concept bumblebee the fastest. and gave the winner $500. In the middle of the dealer room was a tower full of t-shirts for sale. and for some reason I failed to see the g1 Unicron prototype they had on display,oh well. my group of friends and I had to leave a 1 in the afternoon so we missed all the panels and the ROTF preview.I was so pissed. But, we went home with happy memories.

Here's some pics. I didn't take so much because I figured Seibertron would do a much better job of covering everything:

Here's the line we stood in at 9 in the morning.

Here's some of the dealer room over looking the Hasbro area.

Here's a slightly bigger view of the dealer room. It's so big I'd like to see an image of the whole place in one shot.

They had the actual Optimus truck on the dealer room floor.

This is some of the artwork that was on display.

ROTF Toys were selling fast. Scalpers were everywhere. The first one to go out of stock was Sideswipe. I managed to grab these two before they sold out. They even came with a sticker as proof they were first sold at Botcon.

I won this at the door-prize giveaway. I'm gonna put it in a box, forget about it for a few years, and then sell it.

 Oh, good show (in many ways), Skidmark!

Let us hope AutoAssembly has some of the same cool stuff available, although I would understand if the Peterbilt wasn't there...

So, is that the leader class? ;)

I would love to see that in person!

It's a completly rendered image of what Dev should look like in the movie.

It's big for Peterbuilt. I'm about 6 ft. 3 in. and just a couple inches taller then the hood. Some of the younglins were freaking out because of the size of it.
