Shameless plugs and little Maximi

Post by Brave Maximus »

So.....

Big weekend around these parts:

Very very very early Saturday morning I welcomed my first child into the world. He and Mrs Maximus are doing incredibly well and we're home and trying to adjust :D.

Just a shameless plug from a proud dad :D

Somebody's gotta have them, otherwise economies would crumble even faster. Congrats!

Congratulations! I've got one on backorder that's supposed to arrive in mid-March. Prepare to have your life turned upside down, but in the best way.

Congrats! Enjoy him being a baby while it lasts, because they grow up way too fast!

Is it bad that I'm waiting for him to turn 3... so I can start getting him the cool toys? :D

No, it's not. Call me a monster, but I'm not a huge fan of the baby stage. Around 2 or 3 is when they start becoming interactive and things get way cooler then. (And the fact that there's a lot less poop to clean up really helps too!)

Congratulations!

Enjoy the baby time. Because they cannot move and sleep most of the time.

1 to 2 years old is fun but you have to chase him around.

2 to 3 he can star playing some RPMs or Activators or Rescue bots.

3 to 4 he will transform legend class.

4 and older, he is now taking my transformers without my permission and tried to paint one of his Hot Wheels to be like Finn McMissile.

Well, at least this is my case.

Welcome to the father time.

Babies everywhere, omg. Congrats! I think you will need to put a few of your toys on a high shelf in a few years.
This is my signature. My wasted space. My little corner. You can't have it. It's mine. I can write whatever I want. And I have!

Thanks everyone...
Had a rough day today because.... well, the hospital was full of tools... but we have it sorted out :D

As for putting toys on high shelves....
Saddly, about a month ago, I realized that it wouldn't be fair to the kid to have all these things sitting around that he can't play with, AND the gundams all have REALLY small bits... so they all got put into storage until I get a display case.... ah well.
I do have the TF's I'm using as insperation for the RPG out and on a really high shelf.

Sounds to me like you need to convince the wife that you need an 'office' all to yourself. For work, you understand... :glance:

Yes! But that will only work for first couple years. See this?
4 and older, he is now taking my transformers without my permission
But anyway, get yourself a study room first. Plus I also feel it would be unfair if there are many toys standing there but he cannot touch.

That's what locks are for. I figure if your four year old is smart enough to pick a lock you can probably trust him not to destroy your toys.
