The last one's I bought were the second series of Gavin & Stacey, and Blue Valentine, the one with Ryan Gosling and the girl off Dawson's Creek who married Heath Ledger.

That's another few discs to add to the pile of unwatched stuff.

Highschool of the Dead. Violence and fan-service, a lethal combination.

Oh, I never thought it was a masterpiece. I just thought it was as mediocre as possible, but it seems to be widely regarded as utter shite.

The Val Lewton Horror Collection-This set is a birthday present for my dad but I love classic horror films too, and it's been years since since I saw the orginal The Cat People and The Body Snatcher.

The Transformers Japanese Collection: Super-God Masterforce-I got it $20 and considering I was a big fan of God Ginari and Overlord (I've been a big fan of Overlord even before LSotW came out) might as well buy it.

Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker Blu-Ray/DVD combo set. I admit that a huge fan of Bioware and even though the trailers and previews I've seen of this anime film haven't exactly made me super excited for it (maybe more curious than anything), at the price I got it for off amazon it's not a big loss.

Batman: The Movie on Blu Ray. Bloody awesome on every level. "Bon Voyage pussy!". The cover is atrocious though, why try so hard to make it look like one of the modern films, even down to photoshoping Adam West's cowl so it's black. Do Fox really think they're going to fool anyone with that?

Everlasting Love and Paranormal Activity.

That's two films in case anyone's confused.

PA is great fun, though the resemblance is presumably coincidental it's basically Ghostwatch: The Movie.

Ooo, which version? I always enjoyed that movie, and I liked different aspects of both the black and white one and the color version.

The old black and white one! I saw it here at a local store and bought it out of curiosity, but did not watch it so far :-/

Brought the entire run of The Saint as there was a sale on the Network site for the Jubilee. First couple of episodes make it look as if, much like The Persuaders (and most of his 80's Bond films) the plots aren't going to be worth very much but Sir Roger is just awesome enough to make the whole thing watchable. Even if it did sound suspiciously like he was trying an American accent in the second episode. Hell, for the first episode he spends most of it just knocking back free cocktails in a pub before pulling Shirley Eaton without even trying.

I don't have the slightest clue what he does though. IIRC the book version is a thief, but there's been no indication yet in the show what has made him "The famous Simon Templer!".

Underworld: The Legacy 4 Blu-Ray box set. Kate Beckinsale in a skin tight black leather suit. Enough said.

Maverick: The Complete First Season A great B&W classic TV western series. Funny and at times dark and brooding with James Garder and Jack Kelly.
