Although i should have given the Operation Combination forum a vote, this was a non-multi-vote thread and a forum where we get to abuse that Bigbot waste of space sounds like a kick axe idea!

Seriously though - If I was going to add new forums i can think of 2 worthwhile ones:

1. A Japanese Beast Wars forum - for Beast Wars II, Neo and Metals.

2. A Japanese TV Magazine only forum - Where we could learn more and discuss Zone, Return Of Op Prime, Operation Comnination, etc.

Why? Both these forums would tackle rarely talked off TF knowledge and storys which are barely known or mentioned on the internet or within the fan communities and that is a great pity, especially in the case of Beast Wars II and Neo.

Hmm, you could just do a Japanese series forum... but to be fair, I think all necessary JTF stuff is dealt with in either G1 or Toys... there's no reason you can't discuss TV Magazine in G1 :)

Well, actually, it needs multiple people to properly discuss it, and that's going to be a problem with Japanese stuff :)

In order to discuss the Japanese Tf series and comics, you'd need a special forum.

Whenever a Japanese related thread starts in either G1 or Beast Wars it gets little or no attention and sinks rather fast. With a Japanese forum, you'd be sure that people would be posting because then it would be specialised enough.

The Japanese series' have become a particular favourite of mine because of the scarcity and rarity of them both to get and in terms of what is known about them.

If thewre are any mods reading this - I would seriously recommend a Japanese-only TF forum added, because the existing forums are targetted more towards the G1 and Beast Wars American series and the japanese material gets very little room or discussion - what do you guys say?

The reason the jap bw stuff drops quickly in the bw section is that not many people know anything about it to discuss. Out of about 100 (and thats generous) active posters here I bet only about 10 have seen bw 2, neo etc..

I admit the g1 jap stuff is more popular but not enough to warrant its own forum
I support a ban on powerposting

...as you've summarised, there are two arguments.

a) If it's separate, people may never learn about the JTF lines. Plus, it spans and runs alongside the US series quite comprehensively.

b) In current forums, stuff gets lost quickly.

The Beast Wars forum title, does not even mention that Beast Wars II and Neo can be talked about in it and with no tag-line to lead into such discussions, we never get BWII and Neo threads.

Part of my reason for suggesting such a forum is because of the amount of time i have spent on the internet searching for Beast Wars II, Neo, Metals and indeed Jap TF Gen 1, and there is very very little to be found. Adding such a forum would raise both awareness and interest in the series. The very fact that not many fans know about such a big part of the TF universe must merit the creation of a new forum which will effective serve to promote these little known series and generate interest in them?

Just to note: If you look on the main page of the message board - there is no mention whatsoever of the Japanese TF series.

Encouragement = more discussions
