I don't think I ever saw any joke run down into the ground so quickly (and there have been a few)

Come on out Optimus Testicle - i know it was you who posted this using your highly original Alt ID - "Quicsilver"...bah...Quicksilver could just as well be another facet of The Plant for all we know....
Also - RSCOD - there are no need for any more Denyer posts, seeing as you've already told us about that particular alt ID...
killing a joke? Who? me?
(dies quicker than joke before I get killed by a random musing of Optimus testicle)

I dunno, it was pushed pretty close by the replies to ADDL's 'Where's that annoying red porsche' topic, where every man and his dog posted to say that the description of a grumpy Englishman wasn't very helpful... Personally, if I see someone's made a joke I may have thought of, instead of simply repeating what they've said, I tend to either put something different or not bother [browsers have a back button children].

Oh yeah, like there are so many cheery englishmen out there, that it's easy to pick a grumpy one out. All englishmen are grumpy; it hasn't stopped raining over there since 1582. When my great-great grandfather came over on the boat, it took him 27 years to shake the depression off. The constant bad weather drove him nuts; he used to talk to his shoes.Originally posted by Quicksilver

Archive Threads...
1. Someone starts thread intended to be a joke
2. Someone makes joke
3. Someone makes another joke or other joke is repeated, with different wording
4. repeat 3
5. Repeat 3&4
6. Someone comes in, complains of joke being beaten into ground
7. Others follow; joke fades
8. Joke either begins again or thread turns to incoherent babble; fighting may result
9. Someone says something offensive and/or thread is closed
... The question on my mind is, why?
[note: Since I'm not usually the one who complains about things like this, I'm not very good at it... wording and all flies right out the window, eh... But this has really been bugging me.]
Well, now that I've probably killed all the fun, I'll be going now.

"This appears to be a copy of Final Fantasy, which is a step up from a copy of Pearl Jam"-Ed the Sock, on Fromage 2002, about one of Creed's videos--"Bullets".

All this time, I've really been TFArchive in disguise.
