Not to be one who debates details . . .

but what is the 'preferred' assembly of Menasor? In his instructions, his arms are Drag Strip and Break Down and his legs are Dead End and Wildrider. In his TV and comic incarnations, Dead End and Break Down are switched . . . I'm drawing a picture and I'm leaning toward the second configuration, but I was wondering what you guys thought.

The Aerialbots suffer the same problem (in the instructions, Fireflight and Slingshot are the legs).

Do whichever you feel happiest with. Both configurations have canonical support for their use. If you prefer the cartoon or comic to what they instructions say, use Dead End as an arm.

Technically, any configuration had canonical support if you take into account the Japanese series.

For my Menasor, I have Breakdown and Drag Strip as the arms and Dead End and Wildrider as the legs. He seems to stand better that way, even though the instructions inform us they are interchangable.

Thanks for your input guys. I think I'll go with the comic/TV assembly. . . . one last thing: I know it's not exactly 'G1,' but does anyone have good pics of the unproduced G2 Menasor? Did anyone get the G2 Breakdown at Botcon '94 (there are pictures on him)? I would like to do a G2 variation of my drawing and I can't quite make out the colors based on the pics I can find on the net. Specifically, I would like to know whether his chest, waist, and head pieces are purple (like parts of G2 Breakdown) or whether they are blue (like most of G2 Motormaster.) I'd love to get some better pics, and any help would be much appreciated.
