****! I was going to say that! Die Hard 2 is pretty cool, yes.

But other than that, national Lampoons xmas is probably the best bet out of the categories.

i picked a christmas story, although it is really hard for me to have only one favorite movie. i like all of the movies on the list. but oh man, just watching ralph shoot his eye out and his little brother randy snorting in the potatoes...how can you deny its greatness?? :)

My favorite of all time is Scrooge with Albert Finney, the only musical I like.
You also forgot Scrooged with Bill Murray, classic.

Freaky. I was thinking scrooged too. Mind you, I was also wondering where the santa clause was ;)

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation of those listed for sure!

I got to finally see Jim Carrey in "The Grinch" last Friday night on The Movie Network and liked that a lot too.

The one show I cannot go the Christmas season through without seeing though is the classic "The Grinch" cartoon.

The CBC here in Canada faithfully airs it every year, and it's a bit of a tradition for me to watch it.
The Christmas season just isn't complete until I see it. :)

Christmas Story by a nose. I'd have to rank 'em as such...

1. A Christmas Story
2. Muppet Christmas Carol
3. WRITE IN! Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas
4. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
5. Home Alone
6. It's a Wonderful Life
7. The Nightmare Before Christmas

The Ref is a great movie. If it was up there, I'd've voted for it, but instead, I went for Tim Burton. The man can do no wrong and you know it.
You may fear me now.
