Okay I'm currently taking bets on how long Maverick are planning to delay this one.

Firstly they'll delay it for a week.

All orders will be in to get it before Christmas, all press statements surrounding the release will be semi-promising of a confident release date prior to the 19th december, but not in a way that could be determined as legally binding or 'reasonable to believe' in the eye's of a Court.

Then there'll be an unexpected delay pushing it back four more weeks.

The boss at Maverick's cat will be unexpectedly taken sick, pushing the release back a further 6 working days.

There will be a press release of the DVD containing huge amounts of extra features, like Interviews with key voice actors, including Peter Cullen, an actor pretending to be Scatman Crothers, and a flanger machine.

The wind will change, demand for chapped lip cream will increase, adding a further fortnights wait.

The pengiuns of the antarctic will declare war on Australia, increasing fears of global war on a pengiunous scale. The world is on tenderhooks. All Maverick employees affiliated with the release of the DVD will be afraid to travel or go to work. The DVD release will be delayed for a further 7 days until the pengiuns surrender to a crack squad of Baleen whales (ex 'CNN' whales).

The big day arrives and the DVD is released. The packaging is substandard, extra bits are sparse, sound is mono only. Certain parts of 'More than meets the eye' are edited for violence and language, and wheelie is edited in as part of a Prime dream sequence involving the future of the Transformer race.

Halfway through the DVD, the screen flickers into black & white for 7.14 seconds. Four and a half minutes of the best part of the best episode is mysteriously absent, and the picture goes fuzzy whenever any transformers with red paint are on the screen.

Maverick changes its name to 'Substandard', and starts specialising in re-releasing 'Get Along Gang' and 'Punky Brewster' video's and DVD's.

All superbly re-mastered of course.

...and then for no reason what-so-ever VOLUME 2 will mysteriously never appear and the company won't be heard of again (probably due to bankrupcy).

Odds on the above scenario: 3-1

Lordsixshot, I love you! Thanks for that link that's the first actual evidence I've seen, albeit with a highly changeable release date I've heard, *blows kiss* thanks for the link, I've pre-ordered it. Anyone know which episodes are on it?

Let me see... 5 episodes per DVD, that's about 20 DVDs for G1... at £15 a pop... that's £300.

So... about those Catch The Pigeon VCDs?
