.....the offer of buy 2 get 3rd free is also on at toys r us in the uk for energon figures, just got energon devastator today for under £12!!!!

I went to TRU today to get reimbursed for my purchase from this past Saturday, the 12th. I had bought 3 reissues and found out about the sale the next day. I went today to get my refund for the difference for the free one when the sales clerk pulled out the circular add and said it was only for Energon. I informed her that their computers would accept reissues, but they told me I was wrong. I went and bought 3 different ones and they were rung up giving me the the b2g1 free promotion. I then went back to the customer service lady who told me that I waswrong and she still said I was wrong and that the previous purchase did not count because they were different prices, dumb b&%$@!. I finally got the store manager involved who rang up the same items and saw that the computer gave the 3rd for free, so I got my refund of a whopping $5.23. At the time it was the point and not the money. Anyway, stay clear of the Salisbury, MD TRU. They have nimrods at the customer service counter.

Why didn't you just buy 3 new ones and return them on the old receipt?

I got the three released (near me, anyway) Energon Constructicons using this special. Good times.

That was my next move, but they gave me money back. So I did not need to go that route.
