Transformers vs. G.I.Joe comix

Post by Goldbug »

Does anyone know of a site that has scans of the Transformers vs. G.I.Joe comics? (Since tfarchive.com doesn't have em.)

Erm, the comic on that site isn't Transformers vs. G.I.Joe. I'm talking about the comic miniseries they did called "Transformers vs. G.I.Joe"

The UK reprints of that used to be up at http://uktfcomics.cjb.net but probably got taken down... I don't think anyone really considers them a priority because they don't fit in with the rest of the US issues...

Actually yes they do. There's an issue of Transformers (US) in the 30s or 40s I think that mentions the events of the Transformers and G.I.Joe miniseries, and inlcudes the characters from G.I.Joe in it.

Ah... sorry, my mistake, my memory's going awry again... it's the UK series that crossover doesn't fit into, since Bumblebee was killed by Death's Head. A much more reasonable fate than being offed by a buncha pesky humes... Image

I have the scans [of the UK reprints], but haven't the facilities to upload the things...

With regards to the continuity, we have eight issues of pedigree Furman, including a fairly good death for ol' B.Bumble, Death's Head, a wicked DH vs. Soundwave and later DH vs. Galvatron fight, some kewl Magnus moments and one of the funniest frames in TF comic history [Goldbug's 'ooops' moment, which is right up there with Slag's wonderful 'ooo eck, decepticons!' for Combat Colin-fever invading the main strip] versus four issues of abysmal art, Serpentor, Dirge dying then showing up a few issues later and Sgt. Bloody Slaughter... the phrase "no f*cking contest" athetically propels itself to mind...
