Hail!

Thanks.

I wanted to originally call myself Nemesis Prime...But alas it was taken.

As well as Scourge.

So I just put the 2 alter ego Prime names together and came of with this...

A bit long...But I think it works.

Oh my god!

An actual custom job!

They actually pulled it off. I was afraid it was gonna be just a repaint of the Ramjet mold...But low and behold. Different wings!

Best one of the bunch by far! Looks fantastic.

Makes you wonder though. Why didn't they put the same attention on the Dirge figure....Oh well..No use complaining about it now.

Personally I don't think they've got the wings quite right. They are too small. But credit for bothering to custom the thing in the first place. And yeah there is gonna be huge demand for these now!

But God already IS angry, that's the whole point.

After all, what kind of loving god would allow this to happen!?

Wings look a little off, but it's definately an admirable effort. If you listen carefully, you can hear the sounds of a thousand Transfans crying today...

Honestly? Dirge ain't all THAT different from Ramjet. Yeah, there are differences, but the redeco did a lot more than the slight wing alterations would have.

Basically same sentiment here - good that they've forked out the money for the new layout and all (still don't really see the need for Dirge, those stubby little first delta wings just aren't as noticeable), but yeh, those things do just look too stubby. They just built on the F15 wings, I'm guessing?

No, they're completely new. They're just a bit squat in width, I'm guessing to keep to the sprue size.

Yeah, guess I was wrong about Thrust not getting new wings.

Looks really nice, and the set is quite cool. Still no one is gonna get me to spend the dough for the set, but very nice and I will continue to bitch that these would have sold at retail, and should have.
Come on and wind me up.

I know what I said before but I don't care. I'm going to Botcon and I'm gettin' those sumbitches. Dirge, Thrust, and Thundercracker have sealed the deal but mostly Thrust. Anything else at this point will just be icing on the cake for me.

To be fair, the movie's got all the attention for now.. Universe bombed... and the new 'animated' line is coming RIGHT after the movie waves. There's not a lot of ROOM for the figures unless RID2/Classics becomes the 'new' Universe line.

Which, I could go for, honestly, but I can see why there would be hesitation.

The cone-head redecos are fun!
Think I will admire these from afar, though.....

Now, another side-by-side shot - because they're fun!

They do look lovely together, and with the addition of Thrust, the set is complete! The individual look of the cone-heads, Thrust in particular, gives the molds each personality, I think . They're just plain fun!!

Aarrggghhhhh! Not fair, not fair, not fair. I want Thundercracker, Thrust and Dirge! I want them all and I want them NOW!!! :wall:

And the worst thing is we could all end up competing against each other on e-Bay for them. Talk about the end of family...

Yah, the set costs about 229 bucks more than I'd be willing to pay for it.

Here's my thought:

The BotCon team only has a certain budget. Not remolding Dirge allowed for the expenses required to remold Thrust.

Heck yes!!!!

This is posibly the best Seeker set ever. I love Starscream, Skywarp, and Ramjet; but man I have to get these guys. I guess
my laptop will have to wait a bit longer.

They look so show accurate, Oh man I'm praying I'll get the money
for these. I can't wait.

My thoughts exactly, it's a justified "sacrifice" - if you even want to call it that. I still don't understand what all the hubbub (he he he, I said "hubbub") is over the Ramjet to Dirge conversion. Looks spot-on, if you ask me!
