Wow, that went from "Kinda neat" to "OMG, what the hell is that thing!?!" That's unfortunate. :(

Maybe the black and white version will be better.

I will hold judgement until I see a better picture of the B&W one. Those still just look like B&W photos of the color one.

If it's a B&W photo of the B&W figure, then that's fine. But if ti's a B&W photo of the color figure, then there's no guarantee that's what the figure will look like. So, I'm just waiting for a color picture of the B&W figure....

As dizzying as that was. :)

Its the Ehobby exclusive anime accurate "Steamboat Willie" edition

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steamboat_Willie

and will retail at 3 times the price of the regular one for no other reason than it matches the cartoon appearance-ish.

I seem to be in the minority of being absolutely in love with these. It's just the sort of bonkers thing I like.

Although the little mouse on top makes me think its a mecha rather than an autonomous robotic organism, so . . . little bit of the mystique ruined for me

I'm truly terrified by this thing.

I'm more intrested in the numbers this unholy abomination against man and god will shift. And whats next if it does move in high numbers.

Dare I say it? Yes, I shall. I think the figure is quite cute. If it were available at retail in the States and a bit cheaper, I might even consider picking it up.

Should they make a transforming Darkwing Duck though...all bets are off.
