"V-1234/J, I see..." Obsidian chuckled. "But you were given a name... how fascinating. A stricter general would tell you to shut up and stay in your place like a good drone."

Obsidian paused not for effect, but to hover slightly upwards to remove himself from the conflict, now that Zero's people do not seem to require help. "But I am not that kind of general. I am... adaptable. It seemed like you have gained some degree of sentience or self-awareness over your brethren, I am not sure how it works... but I do prefer an army of obedient soldiers than an army of obedient drones. So 'Hammer' it shall be. And it is good that you are able to coordinate with Sixshot. I was afraid that would be difficult to happen, even for drones."

Several of the lesser commanders began to comm Obsidian with order requests. "I must attend to other battles now, Hammer, but I look forward to seeing your progress. Try not to disappoint."

Sixshot nodded at Hammer. "It shall be done, Hammer." The Six-changer's expression displayed a hint of amusement at the Vehicon's sudden promotion. "The strategy is agreeable. I shall come in from the air, then..."

Sixshot's optics blanked for a while, as the sixchanger used the tactical computer built into him by Scorponok's schematics, and calculated flight vectors... and nodded as he transformed into jet mode. "Shall I depart now, then?"

Hunter walked along the wrecked and discared wastes of Cybertron. His sensors sweeping, looking for an area, something specific. It had taken days for his sensors to pierce far enough down through the refuse, but he knew it was there.

Megatron had taken the small ammount of substance he kept on him. A paltry ammount really, though every drop was precious. He only had so much, though he knew where to get more. Still, the Decepticon lord doubted what it could do, didn't believe in the true miracles that came with it's glory. He had taken well over half of what remained in his ship and he would need all of it to perform this miracle. Once it was done, however, there would be no denying the power of the Voice in the Void.

His sensors finally triggered, he found the spot that he was looking for. Climbing to the top of the rock, he transformed and looked around. Things where not what he remembered. A long time ago, long before Autobots and Decepticons, there had been another war. There were always wars. But it was this war that he had been created for. He was the survivor though. He lasted and it's what let him become what he was today.

But his brothers, oh his brothers, they fell in waves. They were tossaways - used as shock troops and disposable bodies. And they fell and were ignored and were burried under Eons of ditreus from Cybertron's callus elite.
Now, he stood off to one side of the waste, but at the center of that ancient battlefield - and smiled.

Reaching into his hold, he pulled out a large container and broke it in half, extracting a large black and purple crystal shard and held it reverently. Closing his optics down, he muttered an indestinguishable prayer and the crystal began to glow, pulsing with an inner light. Energy crackled along his exoframe and he could feel it's pulsing thrum in his systems. He reached out with his left hand and released the energy, it crackled through the ground, causing the whole area to rumble and shake. Finally, Hunter took the crystal and smashed it into the ground.

The effect was instant. The ground cracked, shattered and heaved - things began to move under it.

Hunter turned and walked away, the effect more obvious on him. His colours had become blue, teal and brown, with a distinct glow. Two vestigial horns had sprouted from the side of his face which was alight with a manical grin.

"Come, my brothers...." he said, in a hoarse whisper.

From the battlefield around him, bodies ripped themselves free from the waste. Singles at first, making a path. Then tens, hundreds, thousands, the waste of an epic war. Their bodies preserved and crackling with black energy. Those in robot form had dead black optics, but all moved with a single purpose. They no longer lived, but they followed Hunter, ready to add all those that did to their ranks.

"As you command," Hammer responded to Obsidian with appropriate deference, closing the channel before turning back to Sixshot.

"If you don't mind," he told the sixchanger, "then please do. The first ground units should start arriving at the target area in three minutes, so if you'd like to use them as a distraction keep that in mind."

The Vehicon transformed to jet mode and streaked forward to meet the unit of cars that they were escorting, with Brick eventually realizing he was supposed to follow and rocketing off behind.

"We'll see ya there, big bro!" Brick shouted cheerfully at Sixshot as he followed his brother (and now apparently commander). "Try to leave someone for me to kill if you get there first, okay?"

"I shall keep that time limit in mind." Sixshot told Hammer.

The six-changer mentally frowned at Brick's comments. "I will... try to leave someone alive."

Why would he? His function was total destruction of the enemy. It was what he was born to do. Why did he indulge this Vehicon's whims so easily? This... fool of a Vehicon too, and not his far more intelligent partner?

And what is a 'Big bro'?

Big Bro: colloquial form for elder brother.

Brother: (n) one who shares a common ancestry, allegiance, character or purpose with others.

A comrade.

A friend.

"Don't do that," Hammer whispered to Brick once they'd separated from Sixshot.

"What?" Brick asked, genuinely baffled.

"Sixshot isn't one of us," Hammer told him flatly. "You can't banter with him like you would one of our brothers."

"No," Brick agreed. "Banter with him is lots easier. He's got a name, for one."

"That's not what I meant." Hammer sighed. "He's not wired like us, is all I'm saying. Our makers built us to be soldiers, but they built him to be a weapon."

"Right." Brick was silent for a moment. "I don't get it."

"He doesn't think the same way as we do," Hammer explained, "and our superiors don't look at him the same way either. You send soldiers into battle, and sometimes they die. But when the war's over, they can go back to just being people. But when you don't need a weapon anymore, you lock it up and forget about it...or smelt it down if it's too dangerous." The Vehicon sighed. "I like Sixshot too. He's a bit weird, but I like him. I'm just saying you shouldn't get too close. He's not exactly in line for a happy retirement when Megatron decides he's outlived his usefulness. I wouldn't want to see you get hurt."

Brick wasn't sure what to say. Eventually he decided on, "That's not fair, Hammer."

"No," Hammer agreed. "No, it's not. It's really, really not."

The building was already practically empty when Predacon and his retinue of Vehicons stormed it. The students had fled as soon as the air raid sirens had sounded, and most of the faculty had gone with them. Only a handful had remained too stubborn, too foolish or too wrapped up in their own work to heed the alarms and meet the evacuation shuttles. But they'd been no trouble at all, and now Predacon and his fellow Decepticons had the run of the place.

"I want it all," Megatron's brother was telling the Vehicon who'd become the de facto leader of his small troupe. "Every data core, every hard drive, every memory card and every isolinear rod. We don't have time to be picky -- I'll get Soundwave to data-mine it for anything useful later, when we're back at base and able to work at our leisure."

The Vehicon, a tank unit that he'd taken to calling Blastcharge for his direct, violent approach to the unit of Autobots they'd encountered on the way to the school, nodded curtly. "You heard the boss," he said. "Move out!"

Governor's Palace Corridors

"Trust me, kid," Jazz replied to Hot Rod. "Fun is starting as soon as we don't have to deal with these flunkies," he added.

"Copy that, Tracks!" he shouted over the com link while ducking out of the line of fire. "We're on our way. Is your area secure, because we'll be coming in hot!" Jazz kept the com link open so that Tracks could monitor his position.

"Autobots! Our ride out of here has arrived! Make your way to the transport docks in the palace! Hot Rod! Rapido! Cover Topspin at all costs! I'll take point! Do you copy?" he barked.
Topspin, Think you can keep your cargo safe while blasting some Cons?"

_______________________

Triggerhappy was in his element. He was firing of rounds like there was no tomorrow and it didn't really matter if he hit anything at all. He just loved the sound of his guns blasting.

Then Topspin started firing in his and Black Shadow's direction. "Yikes! That guy packs quit a pow," he said to Black Shadow while jumping out of the way. He looked over to his right and say that his partner was frozen in terror. "Find some cover, you bolt for brains!" he said as he pulled Black Shadow out of harm’s way for the time being. "Now's not a good time to get a glitch, you know?"

_______________________

Springer started to focus his fire on Jazz, who seemed to be the leader of the pack. The way that the mech was trying to keep his unit together while under heavy fire and trying to get their friend out was remarkable. He could even start to respect a mech like that. It was then that he started to question his own motivations again.

Why was he here? Why was he fighting a group of mechs that were only trying to help their friend who, from the looks of things, was tortured.

Tarantulas followed Predacon right after he was done extracting Windsail's brain module and subspaced it for safe keeping. It might prove useful later on.

He was fine with Predacon sort of leading the unit. He had no ambition to lead anyway. All he ever wants is to learn and to create. By any means necessary. "Anything you hope to find here?"

Governor's Palace

Black Shadow's expression slowly cleared as Triggerhappy pulled him out of the line of fire.

"This is nuts!" he shouted at the other newly-recruited Decepticon. "I didn't sign up for this! I wanted to shoot people, not get shot at myself."

The gangster fired a few shots out of cover in the Autobots' general direction, not even considering for a moment the possibility of leaning out to aim.

"What the slag've we gotten ourselves into, Trigg? We'll be fragged for sure, if this keeps up!"
________________________________________

"Pathetic," Megatron decided, as he watched Triggerhappy, Black Shadow and the Vehicons get humiliated by the small Autobot team. "Truly pathetic. Lugnut, show these buffoons how a real Decepticon fights."
________________________________________

Hearing his master's commands over the comm, Lugnut cracked his knuckles and said, "With pleasure, boss."

A few seconds later he charged around the corner into the fray, arms stretched out to either side as he tried to blindside Jazz and gather him into a massive, deadly bear hug.

"Come here, Autobot!"

Predacon shrugged. "Not really," he admitted to Tarantulas. "The place is a low-grade diploma mill run by Prime loyalists. Soulless minions of orthodoxy, really. No interest in discovering new things, since it goes against what their ridiculous senate says their god would want. I just thought it'd be fun to sack the place. Doubt there'll be anything special, but who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky and someone on the verge of a breakthrough hasn't been snuffed out just yet."

He laughed heartily.

"Of if not, we can at least make off with a lifetime supply of microscopes and test tubes. Either way, it's a win in my books. Plus we get to watch Vehicons kill people, which never gets old."

Praxus, Streets

Scorponok walked through the streets, leaving Praxus' center of government burning. The tank vehicons with him were equipped with flamethrowers, and Scorponok had ordered them to burn everything in the building... after salvaging any datatracks that may be valuable, but Scorponok doubted it. The best they could do with those was probably blackmail, but anyone to blackmail had been murdered by him.

Still, they may detail some secret energon cache or investment opportunities, which would help either him or his 'cause'. Scorponok didn't really see the Decepticon cause as worth serving, to be honest, but it's better to be able to live like a king with no restrictions, than to toil under silly laws of the Senate.

As far as Scorponok is concerned, this is another business venture... this one is simply more world-changing than usual.

His claws and feet were pasted with dried mech fluid, which had also splattered onto his exostructure. He held a long spike, through which the heads of every leader of Praxus were speared. It was barbaric and childish, but it was a very effective display. Obsidian would approve. Shock tactics and the like...

Scorponok marched through the city, tank Vehicons behind him, dead heads held up high above his head. And he smiled as civilians and soldiers alike watched their leaders' dead visages in horror before the Vehicons cut them down.
______________________________

"Greetings, Predacon." Obsidian opened a channel to the science officer. "As well as Scorponok and Tarantulas. If it does not bother you... may I ask you a query about the Vehicons you have created? They are working perfectly, I should say, and they are indeed very effective. But humour me: are they supposed to be able to think for themselves?"

When the allotted time by Hammer is up, Sixshot swooped down from the air in an almost vertical vector, and began to unleash supersonic blasts down onto the Autobot reinforcements attempting to regroup.

"Then snap out of it," Triggerhappy shouted back to Black Shadow. "I know that we're in way over our heads, but if you don't keep your servos cooled you'll definitely get scrapped the next time."

Triggerhappy took cover behind a small structure and returned fire towards Hot Rod, firing off more rounds that needed and not caring if they hit their target. "Got to hand it to those Autobots though. They're really dedicated to their mission."

________________________________

Springer overheard Triggerhappy and he was right. The Autobots were really dedicated to getting their friend out of this mess. He stopped firing on Jazz when Lugnut made his move on him and turned his aim towards Rapido. Also a capable fighter he thought as he saw how he assisted Jazz in the mission and guiding the others through it.

While Jazz was perhaps an inspiration to his unit, Rapido was perhaps the glue that kept it together. Take him down and the others would fall. It was the best assessment that he could make. "Concentrate your fire on the smaller red one," Springer shouted at Triggerhappy and Black Shadow. With Jazz being preoccupied, he's the one barking the orders. Take him out and the other will have no choice but to surrender!"

(ooc: going to assume Rapido is smaller than Hot Rod, if not, sorry ;))

________________________________

Because Lugnut pretty much announced his attack, Jazz managed to do a back handspring on one hand just in time to escape the bear hug. "You're not going to get me that easily, big guy. You'll have to do better than that," he said as he retaliated with a swift spinning back kick towards the midsection.

Jazz knew that he was in a serious fight now. His processors were starting to run in overdrive. Analyzing his opponent, finding a weakness and exploit it.

"Ah yes. The Senate and their belief in Primus," Tarantulas said to Predacon. "You would think that it they believed in Primus, they would believe in Unicron too. They should welcome any kind of technological advancements we make if only for the possible threat of the Chaos Bringer being real," he continued on. "But I suppose that we're creating enough chaos of our own," he laughed.

"Glad I signed up with the Decepticons though. No such constraints and all the freedom to create," and giggled a little after that. "I have no hope of finding anything here. Doubt there was anybody here on the verge of discovering anything. The last mech outside of Team Science that managed to do that was Wheeljack."

Obsidian's transmission came in, but he couldn't be bothered to answer it and left it to Predacon.

Loading Docks, Imperial Palace:

Tracks brought his overhead laser cannons online, then got out of the pilot's chair and headed towards the cargo bay door in the back of the shuttle. Taking a moment to steel himself, he opened the cargo bay door. He leaned out, looking around to see if there was anybody around. "Looks cl-"

"HEY, YOU! AUTOBOT!"

"Slag." Tracks ducked back into the shuttle as Vehicon guards charged into the loading dock, deploying guns and opening fire at the back of the shuttle. "I've got company, Jazz[\b]. Lose your company if you can!"

************
Corridors, Imperial Palace:[\b]

Hot Rod ducked as Triggerhappy[\b]'s return fire slammed into the wall around him. "Ahh, scrap this!" Activating his arm cannons, he set both of his photon blasters to overload, he flung them down the corridor at Triggerhappy and Black Shadow[\b], hoping to catch them in the explosion when the power packs went.

"Yeah, but they're, like actual soldiers and stuff," Black Shadow told Triggerhappy. "I'm a gangsta who's been out of jail for less than a day. Deda-cashun ain't in my vocabulary, you know what I mean?"

He fired a few more shots at the Autobots, but frankly, with the arrival of the massive Lugnut he was just as happy to leave the fighting to him. And so, naturally, he wasn't paying attention when Hot Rod tossed his makeshift grenades. One of them landed at his feet, and he stared down dumbly at it for a second before realizing what was going on.

"Ah, hell--"

The thug dove into (and through) the nearest door, but was only half-way through with the explosion rocked him, tossing him hard into the far wall in a dazed stupor. There he sat, twitching, as sparks leaped out from cracks and tears in his armour plating.
________________________________________

"Okay." Lugnut let Jazz kick him, absorbing the force of the much smaller robot's blow by taking a single, slow step back. "If you'd spent any time in the arena, runt, you'd know that's not how you take down a bigger guy."

He smiled.

"But you know...I've got lots of ways to take down a smaller guy. Like shooting, for one."

As if on cue, his chest-mounted machine guns started to spray lead towards where Jazz was standing.

Predacon grinned as he listened to Obsidian's query. "Well, that is the question, isn't it? Their core programming was nothing more than combat tactics and military protocol, but it was implanted into them via a Vector computer. And until I have a few decades to decompile the operating code of one of those, I'm afraid I have to say what comes out of them will always be a bit...shall we say...unpredictable."

He chuckled. "So no, they're not really supposed to have much autonomous free will at this stage. Obviously it'll come with time, if they survive and build up experience, but most of them are basically children at this point. I'm guessing that a few are ahead of the curve, so to speak, if you're asking about it?"

Responding to Tarantulas, he said, "Well, you know...if they weren't hypocritical fools, we wouldn't be having any of this fun, right? So I wouldn't complain too much."

Invasion Zone

At the same time that Sixshot emerged, Hammer and Brick flew into the engagement zone and started strafing the Autobots' ground forces. Their platoon of car Vehicons followed shortly behind, and within seconds they were joined by the remainder of Hammer's Vehicon legion. Though there were dozens of Autobots at the regroup point they were outnumbered by Decepticons by at least a three-to-one margin.

Even without Sixshot, this would be a massacre.

Obsidian wasn't exactly a scientist, but neither is he the ignorant military general. Military warfare is as much technological warfare as the normal firefights.

Nevertheless, he knew there were some seriously advanced science being played around here... not that Obsidian disapproved. It's the opposite, in fact. Obsidian approved fullheartedly. As a soldier protecting Cybertron, they needed troops. And as a patriot... he would stand behind anything that puts their future first.

"You assume correctly, Predacon." Obsidian replied to the scientist. "I do get the gist of your explanation... I assume you have managed to at least partially subjugate a Vector computer, then? I certainly am not complaining about new... and disposable... troop builders. But one... V-1234/J, who has referred to himself as Hammer, seemed to be as independent as any soldier, and seemed to show some degree of autonomy and incentive."

Obsidian paused. "Your super-soldier Sixshot seems to be working well with this Vehicon General, at the very least."

Obsidian paused again. "Humour me, Predacon... Would it be feasible to select those Vehicons who show promise and give them actual training, so the potential would not be wasted? It would certainly be far more efficient than the prisoners I liberated, for your Vehicons have loyalty and obedience scripted directely into their programming."

(OOC: I'm cool with having Sixshot and Vehicon's fight off-screen if you want to. About time we called Praxus' invasion a day... and the timing's just about right since Team Sentinel has just gotten eyes over the now-destroyed city :))

Clench smiled as Lugnut took the initiative. The former gladiator was a good soldier, and he knew what it took to break the will of combatants. He looked over to Black Shadow and sighed. Definitely more of a thug and not a seasoned soldier, panicking like that.

"Don't just stand there!" He barked out, "Charge in behind Lugnut and--" Clench's thought was cut off as the grenade he didn't see lifted him backwards, slamming him against the wall - second time that he had been hit with one that day. He was further away than Black Shadow when it went off, but he was still thrown in the air and landed against a pillar, denting it in some as he collapsed to the ground, unmoving for the moment.

------------------

"Gotta stay mobile guys. We get pinned in and we all die. Push forward." Rapido said, barking out orders to Topspin and Hot Rod.

Rapido saw that Jazz was in trouble, but kept his cool. They were doing better than his projections had indicated, especially with Hot Rod's grenade taking out 2 of the 'Cons, but they weren't out of the woods yet. Rapido moved up to help Jazz when Springer started firing at him, forcing him to take cover. "Topspin, need you to take out their cover. Drive them back."

(OOC: I think Rapido is right around the same size as Smokescreen. Slightly smaller than Hot Rod, but bigger than Windcharger and Bumblebee)

-------------------

Topspin laughed as Black Shadow stood there, not knowing what to do. If his cannon loaded faster, he would have blown that 'Con to pieces. "He's still knocked out in the armored compartment. He's good for now. Just watch yourself."

As he said that, Lugnut came down after Jazz. He couldn't fire his cannon at the larger bot for fear of hitting Jazz, who was standing in the way. But Rapido gave him a new target, and he brought his cannon in line with Springer's position and fired.

"Oh, but I'm not complaining," Tranatulas replied to Predacon. "Their foolishness got them into this situation."

Tarantulas paused for a moment. "My apologies. My attention is required elsewhere at the moment and I'm not able to participate in our current activities," he said as he sat down in almost a meditative way.

Governor's Palace

Springer was conflicted. There was a side to him that didn't want to harm the Autobots, but another side that was pushing him to assault and kill them. He tried struggling the urge to kill, but for some reason he had no control over his actions.

Topspin's cannon fired at Springer and he moved out of the way as much as possible but the debris that the impact of his blasts created was hurled his way and he got knocked over the head with chunks of wall. Down, but not out, Springer shook his head. As if a screw was knocked loose in his head, he saw the battle in a different light. Again he looked around and took it all in for a moment to devise a battle plan for himself. The Autobot's greatest advantage right now is that they're working together under competent field leaders. The 'Cons were just shooting at whatever moved.

He got back up and ran towards one of the Autobot's position.

________________________________________

"Working as fast as I can, Tracks," Jazz replied over them com. "Just hold on. As soon as we have an opening, we'll be there!"

Jazz's kick to Lugnut had little effect, but he didn't expect it to do much damage anyway. "Rapido. Take over command. Get to the shuttle ASAP. I'll try to create as much distance between me and this guy for me to make a break for it."

Focusing his attention back on Lugnut, he saw that he was ready to pump him full of lead. Out of nowhere, Springer jumped in and pushed Jazz out of the way to prevent him from taking any damage. Springer wasn't so lucky though as he took the brunt of the assault, getting hit in the legs.

Jazz way caught by surprise. Never did he expect to receive any help from a Decepticon. Using the distraction to his advantage though, he fired off a few rounds at Lugnut. "If you had some decent training, you might've been a real threat, bug-eyes."

________________________________________

Springer tried to get up, but his legs were too damaged. He also felt a small tingle in his brain module and shortly after that, it was as if it was on fire.

"Ah ah ah. Bad triple changer..." he heard echoing in his mind. "You kill Autobot's not, save them," which was followed by a cackle. It was Tarantulas. He would recognize that voice anywhere, but what was he doing in his head?

"Get out of my head!" Springer said out loud, holding his hands to the sides of his head, eyes squinting and face in agony. "It was you who was controlling my actions and saying things against my will. Get out, get out, get out!"

"Now, now. That's no way to talk to your master. Remember, I created you and I will destroy you if you do not obey!"

"Never! I will not give in to your sparkless commands any longer," he shouted.

"Very well..." Tarantulas replied and in an instant, and electrical charge emitted from Springers chassis and then collapsed as if there was no spark signature within him anymore.

________________________________________

"Yeah? You go first!" Triggerhappy replied to Clench's orders. "Not to be defy your authority, but we're getting slaughtered out here!"

The structure he was hiding behind was blown to bits by Hot Rod's grenade and he had to find a way to get to safety. "Black Shadow!" he shouted as he saw him get hit by the explosion. He wanted to run to him, but then saw Springer save the Autobot called Jazz. "Traitor!" he shouted and then saw Springer collapse. "You'll pay for that!" He made his way towards Springer and aimed his gun at his head. "That'll be the last thing you do, scum," he said, ready to pull the trigger.

Governor's Palace

When Triggerhappy lifted his gun, a large figure easily matching Lugnut in mass and proportion charged out from behind a corner, with speed belying its size, swinging a powerful fist in the direction of the smaller Decepticon.

Grimlock let out a bellowing roar as he announced his arrival.

How could he be so stupid? Controlled like some lowly dog. Listening blindly to orders. Watching blindly as the Decepticons killed the weaklings in Praxus.

Not warriors. Civilians, politicians, scientists. Weaklings. People who can't defend themselves. No pride in that. Shameless. No honour. It's not right. Even Grimlock knew that.

Strength rules all. But taking from those who can't defend themselves is not the same as beating down those with power to defend themselves.

And Obsidian and Megatron merely saw him as a pawn. A trooper. The Autobots that he met before? Jazz and Rapido? They saw him as a person, vocal impediment notwithstanding.

But more than that? Grimlock is a fighter.

And fight he would.

It's the only damn thing he knew.

(OOC: Yes, Grimlock has been planned. It's just taken months to get here, lol)

Rapido didn't believe his eyes when Springer stopped firing at them and came to Jazz's rescue, was shot up, then fell over while grasping his head. Rapido hesitated as raised his gun, unsure of whether to help Springer, since he had just saved Jazz, when he heard the roar. He didn't believe his eyes or his audio receptors when Grimlock came charging in.

"Grimlock!" He yelled, excitement in his voice. "Slag yeah! Man it is good to see you!" The odds of them getting out alive just went up tremendously. "Jazz, should we get the other bot too? He did just save you."

Corridors:

Hot Rod raised his left arm, aiming the photon blasters built into his forearm at where Triggerhappy, Black Shadow, and Clench had been. He side stepped his way to where Magnus had been dropped, hauling the unconscious Autobot to his feet. "Let's get out of here before more of these guys show up!"

Blasts sizzled in at Tracks as the guards fired at him. He checked the charge in his black beam gun, switched it to blaster mode, then stuck it around the edge of the hatch opening, and started firing wildly. He could hear several surprised yells, one howl of pain, and the sounds of scrambling feet as he leaned out, aimed his overhead laser cannons at one of the Vehicons, and opened fire, blowing the Vehicon into a stack of storage containers.

Governor's Palace

Triggerhappy turned around after hearing Grimlock's roar, only to see a huge first coming his way. Too slow to avoid it, Triggerhappy was hit straight in the face and knocked back far by the sheer force of the impact. It was a miracle that his head was still attached to his body.

Crashing into a wall, Triggerhappy was down and not able to do anything for the moment.

This mission was full of surprises, Jazz thought. "Grimlock?!" Jazz shouted a bit surprised while returning fire at the Vehicons and Lugnut. "Glad for the assist buddy. We can definitely use it! Wanna come with us?"

Jazz turned to Rapido. "Hot Rod has the right idea. We need to get out of here now" he shouted. "We'll take the green one with us. Don't trust him yet, but leaving him here will definitely get him slagged. Think you can carry him?"

Governor's Palace

Grimlock grunted as Triggerhappy was knocked down with a single blow. Amateur. Probably one of the random thugs Obsidian scraped off the prison. Must've been rusty inside the prison, and even then Grimlock doubted the smaller and younger Decepticon would be a match to him even in his prime.

Still, while he was lurking in the nearby shadows Grimlock had designated Black Shadow and Triggerhappy to be taken out first -- always take out the easy prey that seemed dangerous enough to be a threat, then move to the big fish... afterwards mop up the little fodder.

(Those purple Vehicon things don't look like they'd be able to put a dent in the Autobots' armour, let alone Grimlock's)

As soon as he was satisfied that Triggerhappy is out for the count, Grimlock glanced at Rapido and Jazz, and gave them an acknowledging grunt.

He then launched himself at the largest threat in the room -- Lugnut. He drew his right fist back and lashed forwards in a blow meant to hit the other Decepticon in the face, while his other hand was in a position where he could parry any attack Lugnut would do towards his blind spot.

"Always wanted to fight you." Grimlock growled. "Never got chance in arena. See if you half as good as Megatron. See if you do good against someone your size."

(OOC: Magnus is in the back of Topspin's armored vehicle mode currently, so no one else needs to carry him. He's a bit bigger than his G1 design. Kinda what we had pictured here: http://www.juniorgeneral.org/donated/2011/may28/efv.png)

"I'll be slowed down a little, but I'll manage." Rapido replied back to Jazz. He made his way to the green bot and heaved him up into a firefight's carry. It left one arm free to fire, but he wasn't going to be very mobile. "Let's get out of here. Hot Rod, lead the way. We need to get to Tracks as soon as possible." Luckily, most of the fighting had died down, other than Grimlock and Jazz fighting the big guy.
