"The Wet Pillow" just sounds rude. Black Lightning was actually a proper Superhero. Part of DC's Milestone* imprint of the early '90s.

*Not much of a milestone. It just featured black and asian superheroes. because there'd totally been none of those before that point.

IIRC Black Lightening was part of the DCU not part the Milestone Universe.Skyquake87 wrote:"The Wet Pillow" just sounds rude. Black Lightning was actually a proper Superhero. Part of DC's Milestone* imprint of the early '90s.

Milestone was a line about minority superheroes basically by minority creators and some of it was quite good. Their last major attempt was Static Shock which was to merge them into the DCU (along with the Wildstorm characters) at the start of the New 52 it didn't last, and IIRC one of the former creators begged DC to cancel N52 version of Static Shock because it was so awful.
The last I heard the rights to all the Milestone characters are now owned by a company called Milestone Media which is currently going to follow Mark Millar's example and see if they get multiple publishers to publish their titles.

Block and Tackle.
Adequate Man.
Jesus Christ (more for what a dull comic it would be than the name. His omnipresence would mean he'd instantly know everything the villains were up to, but he'd let them carry out their dastardly deeds before just forgiving them).
